Pelosi/Schitt just lost one pro-impeachment vote. One more "moderate" dem will now need to volunteer to sacrifice his political career to a bogus political stunt. Bummer.

Just shows how low Trump has lowered the bar on acceptable behavior. Plus, the anonymity of the internet, imo, allows people to say and do things they would never ever say or do were they live and on camera.

    Sad but true.

As a champion for equality and civil rights, Cummings was certainly sincere and energetic... and he can be admired by us all for those attributes.

With regard to many other aspects of life, both in Baltimore and the rest of the United States, the man became the epitome of everything that has gone so sadly wrong in this country during the past thirty years. Nevertheless, I wish his soul rest and peace in the afterlife, where, if I am correct, we will all eventually go....

I think Cummings was one who did those things he believed were right, was sincere in his positions. I disagreed with most of them but he seemed like a decent person. RIP.

Apparently at the expense of his city. Baltimore schools spent second in the country on students, yet ranked 28th in education. Seems as though there was some overhead somewhere.

I hope Gov Hogan picks a replacement soon, the people of Baltimore can't wait for a special election to have representation.

With Trump you don't need an interpreter to read between the lines to get to what he's saying.

"Plus, the anonymity of the internet, imo, allows people to say and do things they would never ever say or do were they live and on camera"

You mean the House Oversight Committee not the internet don't you?.

Why? They weren't represented before. I know what you're saying.

Ditto. I often loathed him. But this is so so sad.

The subject of this thread was not Trump. Try to show a little respect for this discussion as the OP requested.
