Parent/child, sibling, grand parent/child, etc....most of these things are a matter of public record.

And there is no such thing as a NON-common law marriage bigamy charge?

    A specific Christian denomination?

There is. I've mentioned it already. It's where a person obtains marriage licenses from two or more states.

I've not seen anything that breaks it down by denomination. Keep in mind that I am only talking about people themselves, and not the stance that the organizations have on poly.

It used to be based on race it used to be saved on sex. They wouldn't let you.

Oh yes, I forgot. So then which of the multiple states is the one to take legal action?

now you still need a license which means you're asking permission if everybody gets permission then what is the purpose of the licensc?

I'm talking about the past because we said discrimination against people with regard to marriage and none of that would have happened if you didn't have to ask Mommy government for permission. The whole problem was created by government.

Are you saying that the legal benefits should still apply even without government involvement?

I'm saying exactly what I typed, if you ever ask me "are you saying...?"

The one that catches that I would assume, although given legal precedent, any and all state could probably charge the person. The question then goes to practicality.

Why wouldn't they? That has nothing to do with the licensure?

How would they still apply? How are they upheld if the government is not involved?

But that is with the license. I'm not understanding how we do away with that which tracks the marriage if you feel that it is asking permission?

you don't understand because you're mixing up two different things. A license is not how marriage is tracked it is how permission is granted.

How do you determine that someone qualifies for a legal benefit?

Why wouldn't legal benefits apply even without government involvement? Because legal benefits are from the government.

So you'd be okay with government involvement as long as it wasn't a license?
