Just like Mueller saying no collusion means collusion.

LOL,Democrat-controlled U.S. House of Representatives passed a bill in September that imposes restrictions on transactions with Russia until it had been cleared of election interference. A quid pro quo.

I can really tell by the way he bombs their allies and enhances sanctions....maybe that’s “reset” from the more flexible policies or the past admin

State Department official told Congress he raised concerns about Hunter Biden's Ukraine dealings in 2015 but was ignored

A State Department official focused on Ukraine policy told Congress this week he raised concerns about Hunter Biden’s role on the board of a Ukrainian natural gas firm in 2015, but was rebuffed by former Vice President Joe Biden’s staff, Fox News has confirmed.

Deputy Assistant Secretary of State George Kent, who testified behind closed doors before committees spearheading the formal House impeachment inquiry, told congressional investigators that he had qualms about Hunter Biden’s role on the board of the Ukrainian energy company Burisma Holdings.

The Washington Post first reported details of Kent’s testimony on Friday, which included his concerns that the younger Biden’s role in the company could complicate U.S. diplomatic efforts with Ukrainian officials, and raised the issue of a possible conflict of interest. Kent also testified that he was worried that Hunter Biden’s position would make Ukrainian officials think he was a channel of influence to his father, who was vice president at the time.

A congressional source confirmed to Fox News on Friday that Kent testified that when he brought his concerns to the office of the vice president in 2016, his staff “blew him off” and ignored the issue involving the younger Biden's role at the firm.

Meanwhile, during his deposition on Tuesday, sources told Fox News that Kent spoke extensively about accusations of corruption linked to Burisma, noting it was a “big problem” as it relates to Ukraine.

Kent had repeatedly raised concerns with the Obama administration about the company, specifically providing an example in 2016, when he raised concerns with the Obama administration’s USAID about dropping a planned event with Burisma. Kent testified that the event involved children, and he did not feel comfortable with photos of children in conjunction with Burisma.

Trump never asked Zelensky to do "him" a favor.

Trump asked Zelensky to do "us" a favor.

Those are two totally different things.

    So, stop making crap up!!!!!

It is what they do because it is all that they have.

Schiff is the poster child for rabid political slander. AKA Claims without substance.

That's what I said, absolutely any imaginable transaction is "something for something" and is QPQ, a purchase of a can of Pepsi is, your paycheck is, any business deal, any political agreement, any condition, any precondition... these are ALL QPQs. The entire leftist and MSM brouhaha is therefore just as absurd and meaningless as their previous "collusion" hysteria was.

QPQ can only be wrong if Trump benefited personally from it. Given his demands, confirmed by Mulvaney that Ukraine must deal with corruption and cooperate with official DOJ investigation, the idea that it was even remotely illegal or inappropriate is utter nonsense. These were perfectly legal, normal, in fact required preconditions to getting US aid.

A response about someone not in the presidential race being a victim of campaign interference?
Your mini-bike sure has a wicked throttle response!

The President will go to great lengths to disproof the Mueller Report conclusion of Russian interference in the 2016 election, on his behalf. It's the only way he can justify a handful of pardons and the lifting of the sanctions against Russia over their annexation of the Crimea. The lifting of those sanctions is necessary for him to implement his strategy for a new OPEC, led by the United States, Russia and Saudi Arabia, which may fix global oil prices and force the diversion of a larger percentage of GDP toward energy costs, in the oil importing states, such as China, India, the EU, etc.

And in light of your admission that QPQ is perfectly fine unless it leads to personal benefits, your problems with Trump's demands that Ukraine deal with corruption and cooperate with legitimate DOJ investigation in order to get half a billion dollars in aid are what exactly?

Problem with that is that the DoJ announced yesterday that they knew of no such withholding of aid in regard to the cooperation of any investigation at DoJ.

I've read conflicting things about whether the Ukrainians knew about the aid hold-up at the time of the infamous phone call. As for misspeaking, I can't blame you since Mulvaney got there before you.

Nope, they said no such thing.

They said something about not knowing that Trump demanded Ukraine to cooperate as a precondition. Which is fine, they didn't need to know.

The investigation though does exist... do names like Barr and Durham happen to ring a bell? ;)

I haven’t. The president of Ukraine was quite clear, he had no idea. Which frankly destroys the left wings parody.

Oh, you are maintaining that. So your understanding of this exchange is that Mulvaney is not confirming a quid pro quo?

My error...I edited the post to correct. And, when are these various investigations expected to be completed?

Oh, in that case there's no problem with Biden because he said there was no impropriety. Fine, all sorted.

Or, in the real world, sometimes people lie to further their agendas. Is that true in either of these cases? It's not clear.

So your evidence now is that the ukrianian president is lying?

We know they felt pressure from Biden because they said they did.

I quoted an unedited portion - the direct response to "But to be clear, what you just described is a quid pro quo" was "We do that all the time with foreign policy". You seem to think this isn't Mulvaney confirming a quid pro quo and yet you accuse me of partisanship? That's pretty extraordinary. Good luck to you. It's hard to imagine where we go with this conversation if something so basic isn't taken for granted.
