Thank you for this. The liberals have not YET turned their eyes on Wyoming. This makes the state very appealing to me. It has the 3rd lowest poverty rate in the nation (only North Dakota and Iowa are better). It is tied for lowest homicide rate (damn near 0). Actually most of the best Western states are now getting flooded by liberals fleeing California. I hope they continue to leave Wyoming alone. What they are in the process of doing to Idaho is criminal. Watch what happens in the next decade, it will make you weep. They are doing this state by state in a long march. Conservative values (the ones not sold out in 2016) work best on a small scale, I live in a very red area of the country and for a medium-ish sized city their policies can work — minus the religious issues and bigotry that they typically bring with them. They cannot handle larger issues or ideas which is why virtually all larger cities are bright blue even in bright red states. And why they fail so intensely on the national scale when they are in power.
weird pov. what the hell are religious issues. the fact that IHOP is packed with overdressed people 10am on sunday? the two most bigoted cities I've ever lived in were Chicago and Miami. and in both cases the bigots were not white. if you want to see real hardcore racism, find a big city. the misunderstandings about small town values are generally bred from big city attitudes, not by personal experience.
