It is time to ask ourselves, is Trump acting like a Russian puppet?

Yup, he is too damn obvious. Discretion is not a part of Trump's make-up. He is about as subtle as a raging bull.

Since Trump's fateful and dishonorable decision on Oct. 5th to betray an important ally, hundreds have died and thousands have been forced to leave their homes

In a rally held in Texas, Trump's fourth rally in eight days during the humanitarian crisis in Syria, the sociopath said: "Sometimes you have to let them fight like two kids in a lot, you gotta let them fight, and then you pull them apart," comparing the slaughter in Syria to a schoolyard brawl.

As I said, Trump is begging to be impeached. He longs to be a daytime television star given the role by House Democrats if they embark on impeachment proceedings. Trump has nothing to worry about.

Republicans are offering their obligatory comments and are "horrified" at Trump's mindless decision to give Turkey all it wants while conceding nothing.

Mitch McConnell, a Republican from Kentucky, is majority leader of the U.S. Senate, wrote an Op/Ed in the Washington Post, dated today. He said, "Withdrawing U.S. forces from Syria is a grave strategic mistake. It will leave the American people and homeland less safe, embolden our enemies, and weaken important alliances, adding, "There is no substitute for American leadership. No other nation can match our capability to spearhead multinational campaigns that can defeat terrorists and help stabilize the region."

McConnell concluded by saying, "America’s wars will be “endless” only if America refuses to win them."

For the first time, I agree with McConnell, not that it will do any good.

Trump's good friend, Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., refused to back down to Trump's criticism of him and warned that the conflict in Syria could be a "defining moment" for Trump. "I am looking for President Trump to change this. I will do anything I can to help him, but I will also become President Trump's worst nightmare," Graham said.

But Trump has nothing to worry about. The Trump Republicans will do what they always do -- nothing.

Putin is Trump's good friend, and Trump respects him greatly and respects what he says. How do we know this? Trump told us.

Kim is also Trump's good friend. In fact, they fell in love and exchanged love letters. How do we know this? Trump told us.

Erdogan is Trump's friend. How do we know this? Trump told us. "I just want to thank and congratulate President Erdoğan. He’s a friend of mine, and I’m glad we didn’t have a problem because, frankly, he’s a hell of a leader, and he’s a tough man," Trump told reporters this week.

Trump has another friend, but he seems to have forgotten him. His name it Benjamin Netanyahu, and he is the prime minister of Israel.

"US President Donald Trump has done little for Israel," former Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert told the Jerusalem Post. "Recognizing Jerusalem as the capital of the Jewish state and then the Golan Heights as Israeli territory were empty gestures. This was a declarative move: no substance," Olmert said. "The [Golan] Heights were annexed in December 1981 — 38 years ago. Trump's statement merely caused more controversy over Israel's control of the Golan focusing world attention on an area that had been largely ignored," he added

Olmert saw no reason "to be surprised about the pullout from Syria," but that the US withdrawal is a reminder that Israel has only itself to rely on.

"In the longer term, the clear evidence of the chaotic way the US president conducts business is worrisome," wrote the liberal daily Ha'aretz. "He seems committed only to himself. Against this backdrop, it's almost amusing to note the shrinking number of Trump supporters in the Israeli media, who need to employ a little sophistry to justify the actions of the supposed lover of Israel currently occupying the White House."

Trump's withdrawal from the region not only strengthens Russia's position in the region, but also Syria's ally, Iran. Trump drove our former ally, the Kurds, into the hands of Russia and Syria.

For Israel, the US troop withdrawal from Syria comes at an inopportune time. Iran has used Syria to challenge Israel for years, supporting Bashar Assad as a means of gaining a foothold next door to Israel. Paramilitary troops from Iran's Quds Force are closer than ever to Israel's borders. https://www.dw.com/en/israel-stuck-in-a-new-middle-east-amid-turkeys-syria-offensive/a-50847541

There is more, but the reader gets the point. The Kurds were not the only ones Trump betrayed.

Someone not particularly nimble on their feet would say, “Not a puppet. Not a puppet”.

He’s obviously compromised. By what, who knows?

As we have seen by Pelosi calling several Dem's running for president Russian agents, it's just more meaningless name calling for the useful idiots to eat up and a key feature of their politics of personal destruction. Like the illegals crossing the border, Lefties only care about the Kurds when they can use it as a talking point to pretend they are morally superior.

As Putin's objective has been to undermine Americans' confidence in our Democratic processes, the DNC has done his bidding quite effectively. Why shouldn't they? They are a gaggle of socialists and Putin helped them with a smear campaign against Trump in 2016.

When this subject came up ion the past, Trumpers would point to sanctions (most of which Trump opposed...some he has removed) and the aid to Ukraine.

Oddly they don't talk about the Ukraine aid any more.'

    Hmmmm

I totally agree. I think the answer lies somewhere in his taxes he doesn't want anyone to see. Money laundering, conspiracy involving hush payments to a porn star and a playboy bunny, conspiracy involving campaign fraud, violation of the emoluments clause of the Constitution, who knows? We may never know.

To say Trump is incompetent is to say water is wet. Throughout his Presidency he replaces one controversy illustrating his incompetence with worse controversy illustrating his incompetence.

Where to begin? In 32 months there are so many. Let's begin with his disastrous trade war with China, which fortunately has not hurt our economy too much, no thanks to Trump. To illustrate the problem, currently the Dow is 281 points above where it was in January 2018. The stock market is standing still, and his trade war with no end in sight is a disaster while contrary to Republican Party principles.

Trump changed the subject from his disastrous trade war with China to his cowardly response to Iran capturing ships, mining ships, destroying the largest oil refinery in the world, and shooting down a very sophisticated American aircraft. Trump's response was meaningless economic sanctions. Trump seemed to have forgotten the fact that he caused the entire mess by removing the U.S. from a perfectly good working agreement that barred Iran from making a nuke.

As things got more serious with his handling of Iran, Trump began still another controversy to change the subject. He called a foreign power, asked them to interfere in our Presidential election by investigating one of his opponents and used bribery to get the foreign power to do what he wanted. This jacked up the impeachment charges against Trump.

But Trump didn't care. The mindless President quickly started a far worse controversy to remove the previous one from the front pages. He betrayed an important ally in the Middle East, an ally that had destroyed ISIS and curtailed Assad's monstrosities, and gave his friend, dictator Recep Tayyip Erdoğan of Turkey, everything he wanted. This imbecilic decision caused him support of Republicans in Congress, and both McConnell and Graham have turned on him.

Trump hasn't replaced this disaster yet, but he will.

What could be worse than betraying an important ally in the fight against Islamic terrorism? I don't know, but we will find out. Trump will find something. He always does.

With all the chaos Trump is creating, is there any doubt he is acting like a Russian puppet? I would like to hear from Trump supporters on that question. Or, are they avoiding the issue? They probably are.

Did you just make that up? Do you have anything, anything at all, to support your contention?

    Yeah, I thought not.

Let's start with the Dossier Hillary paid for. Who fed Christopher Steele the disinformation? Who turned the Dossier into a 3 year hoax?

You know nothing, only what the MSM wants you to know. A better question would be: Is Trump a British puppet? Is Trump an Israeli puppet? Is Trump an Australian puppet? Is Trump a Canadian puppet? Is Trump a Saudi puppet - I mean after all, he talks to them more than he does to Russia?

Why do you support Trump? Do you even know? Do you like a President who betrays our allies? Do you like a President who is doing exactly what Putin wants him to? Because of Trump's dishonorable retreat in Syria, the region is now in Russia's control, and her allies, Syria and Iran.

I suppose you think that is a great idea.

Are you a Russian sympathizer? Where are you from?

What part of my post did the MSM get wrong? You failed to mention that.

Only a Trumpet would criticize a writer for using multiple sources for his reports.

I suspect it is you who is avoiding the truth.

Just make it up as you go along.

    That makes no sense whatsoever.

Putin has ADMIITED (in Helsinki) that he wanted Trump to win.

So you're saying that Clinton conspired with Russia to LOSE the election?

Why do you say Trump is doing what Russia wants and not what France wants; or what Britain wants; or what Saudi Arabia wants; or what Israel wants - or even worse, what the deep state wants?

Aren't they the ones who wanted us in Syria, and aren't they the ones who we worked with in Syria? Believe me, it wasn't Russia!

    Conspiracy theories come and go,
and yet with Trump it can't be so.
It's Putin here, it's Russia there,
It's what we're told you know?

The years will come and years will pass,
but this one's sure to last and last,
for Russia must remain a foe.

That's what we're told you know? - Jeannette

That Russian thing has been debunked many times as a tactic to hide Hillary's conspiracy with Putin's KGB to throw the election her way with the bogus dossier. Don't you get tired of embarrassing yourself by dredging up old lies. Those lies didn't work for 2 years and they still don't work. They've just gotten stale.

The Kurds have been fighting a war over real estate for centuries. We didn't intercede in Israel's wars over real estate ,,, why should we invest any more American blood with the Kurds? Anyway, if there was a real betrayal going on, ABC wouldn't have dragged their camera's to Knob Creek, KY and claimed that firing practice was an attack on the Kurds. You and ABC have alot in common.

This post is hilarious, straight from the White House website. Here is the truth.

It is always helpful to read what I have said. You can begin with the OP. I will not repeat myself.

You still have not told us what the media is getting wrong.

You can't. The media gets it right most of the time.

Zucker admitted that he has no interest in CNN getting the news right. He's just interested in impeaching Trump. Even after Zucker admits corruption, you believe in him because he gives you what you want. Biden admitted his corruption, but you believe in him because he blamed Trump for his corruption.

As I told you in October 2016 ---- stay away from sharp objects.

Trumpets are avoiding this thread like the plague. I really don't blame them. Trump lied to them again. How can they defend his lies? Well, as seen here, they can't.

Trump claims to want to end “endless wars” while doing nothing of the sort. His surrender order in Syria started a war. "It's time to bring our soldiers back home." — Trump said at a news conference on Wednesday. He was lying.

Fox News reports, "All U.S. troops leaving Syria as part of the withdrawal plan recently announced by President Trump will be stationed in western Iraq, Defense Secretary Mark Esper said Saturday."

The U.S. departure from Syria will take “weeks not days,” Esper said, and involve both aircraft and ground convoys as about 1,000 troops relocate, Reuters reported.

Does this mean there won't be any pullout at all? I am a retired Marine officer and a amateur military historian. It does not take weeks to withdraw 1,000 troops and their equipment. Is the Pentagon countermanding Trump's order? It has happened before.

Suddenly, Trump changed his mind, or the Pentagon changed it for him. The Times reports, "Trump is leaning in favor of a new Pentagon plan to keep a small contingent of American troops in eastern Syria, perhaps numbering about 200, to combat the Islamic State and block the advance of Syrian government and Russian forces into the region’s coveted oil fields, a senior administration official said on Sunday."

Fox added, "In addition, the U.S. military will continue its efforts to prevent a resurgence by Islamic State group (ISIS) terrorists, he said."

More evidence Trump is backing down from his dishonorable surrender order that betrayed an ally. Trump's order resulted in the Turkish invasion of Syria to annihilate the Kurds and forcing the survivors to leave their homes. In the process, thousands of ISIS terrorists were allowed to escape. Now because of Trump's order, we are forced to fight them again.

It doesn't take genius to figure out that the U.S. can't fight ISIS terrorists in Syria if our C-in-C foolishly orders our troops to go to Iraq.

Conclusion: As a result of the Pentagon's order to the troops and Trump's belated change of heart after much of the damage has already been done, the troops are staying for the reasons provided by Esper.

Trump's obvious attempt to turn the region over to Russia was a bit too obvious. Trump has about as much discretion as a pit bull.
