of course...and according to you they are more important than the Irish whose country it is... and is that not typically British, to put British interests first even in other people's countries.

truth is the establishment simply do not want to let it go..they fear the fracturing the UK.

Mmmm I have crossed the Swiss border, tis true. There are checks on the Irish border and always have been - but no -one wants a hard border as was up until 1990 - It ain't gonna happen. I don't blame the DUP for being difficult now they fear being left with one foot in each side - but 'find an answer to Irish question and they change the question' has always been said about dealing with Ireland.

I know! What are you telling me for? - I've been waiting for 45 yrs to be able to vote LEAVE again. We should have been taken out immediately - but we were not - and here we are still in. It is what it is.

I was speaking of our reasons for voting not what was on the ballot paper. Cameron didn't expect the result he got did he? And 'they' have been trying to reverse it ever since ------------- dat's politics. They expected us to vote Remain - but because the Ballot questions were confusing in the 1975 referendum it was insisted that in 2016 we should be simply asked IN or OUT. They just didn't plan for an OUT.

We stumped them and they are still in shock - running around chasing their tails - we shall leave, they have lost but ............ our patience is wearing thin.

Which wealthy elite is that? Who? And who says that the Irish want to unite? I think most people in the Republic want to Leave the EU -- which really would solve our problem

You have got me wrong. The UK citizens are in all of the four countries of the UK, and all of their votes were part of brexit.

    Let it go where?

What we fear is another 20 years of bombs and never ending daily bomb scares - don't forget the IRA bombed the Tory Conference killing 5 and maiming many - the DUP Leader's father was killed by the IRA - from what I have heard NI is healing but such sleeping dogs do not need waking again. NI also had a referendum on independence and they also voted to stay in the Union.

The SNP never stop calling for another vote but the SNP are not Scotland - especially after mis managing their economy. More Scots voted to Leave the EU than voted for the SNP in last election.

Yes of course it will also be in their (those who do not want to secede) interest to stir unrest. But I'm not the only one talking about it.

Brexit raises the spectre of the UK’s break-up

The Northern Irish are British but their cows are Irish - and their chickens and horses - dogs - don't be so sure that GB don't need them.

    Lol I am a vegetarian ;)

Rev Paisley said it ' I am British but my cows are Irish' meaning that he could move around the UK freely but his cows couldn't because there already is control of agri produces between NI and GB.

    Hardly.
My father, from his experience, encouraged thinking, even to the point, that his opinion and the opinions of his sons, clashed so hard that animosity was the result.
My generation was the freest ever and that freedom we had to take from the generation before us, especially from the one of our parents.
It seams to me, that you, with your black and white thinking, belong to the generation of brainwashed. You must be from the 80s or so.

Give you a hint, the moment you think, the next generation or the one after, is useless, you are old, in your head.

I think todays generations are very much ok.
Very different from mine, but than their world and future is and will be very different from mine.
They will do and cope, like mine did.

And this means what exactly, let the terrorists win?
Al Qaeda isn't tolerated and neither are ISIS and both are met with strict anti terror laws to charge these people when they blow up ****, what makes you think Ireland's any different?
Any one who threatens to blow up any border shouldn't be listened to and should be the reason for tight security.
Send the IRA to Guantanamo Bay detention camp, doesn't matter if they're white or if they're catholic, a terrorist's a terrorist and it's a post 9/11 world, so, so what if some terrorists butt holes wish to blow something up; Terrorists win when we listen to them and their fear tactics.

But your parents said you were no good, you told us.

Schools now indoctrinate they do not educate or encourage free or critical thought --- the experiment which began in the 1970s, when my daughter was at school, has had a terribly negative effect on our young who are trapped in the state school system.

Northern Ireland, Wales, and Scotland have barely more than 10m people. What England wants, England gets.
Oh, yeah--I watch Sky News and see the nonsense. Leavers tirelessly push the line that voters won't trust government if the UK doesn't leave the EU. Who in their right mind trusts them?
