forgot.Of course Obama also said in no specific terms that Marriage was
a union between a Man and a Woman.PERIOD. How quickly that got
reversed.Not by We the People.But by Government.Thru manifest trickery,the same
used to pass ObamaCare.This Great Republic was not built on a foundation of
trickery.But by Rugged Individualism and a Pioneer Spirit.

Restricting marriage to just some Americans and ignoring the equal rights and privilege clause of the Constitution is what led the Supreme Court to strike down anti gay marriage laws - a completely Constitutional action.

The Magna Carta, the English Bill of Rights, the no wonder George Washington, reclaiming the Rights of English Man, meant something, the Mayflower Compact, the Constitution, the Constitution Party was a compromise party to pre-empt and end US Civil War. The vote was not legal. Government controlled healthcare is not a legislative power enumerated in Article I Section VIII. SCOTUS does not do "tests".

ANY laws about marriage are unconstitutional on the federal level. Article I Section VIII grants no power to legislate about marriages. This is a State level issue, NOT a federal level one.

Healthcare falls under the GENERAL WELFARE of We the People and that is SPECIFIED in that section.

 

The "General Welfare Clause" is not a power in and of itself. It is an introduction to (stating the purpose of) the below-mentioned enumerated powers. Otherwise, there is no point in enumerating the legislative powers of Congress if anything claimed to be "for the general welfare" is a legislative power. You are defeating the whole purpose of having a Constitution with that line of thinking... Read Article I Section VIII

 

Ironic since it is patently clear that you are the one who had NOT read Article 1 Section 8.

That section of the Constitution EXPLICITLY STIPULATES the General Welfare is a LEGISLATIVE POWER granted to Congress which is EXACTLY the SAME POWER as is granted for taxes and defense.

That asinine fallacy was negated by the Supreme Court when it expanded the clause to empower Congress to legislate anything it needed to as long as it does NOT INFRINGE upon INDIVIDUAL RIGHTS.

 

It did not. John Roberts erred in calling the mandate a tax. You will notice that it did not stand and went down without a challenge. Obamacare so damaged healthcare it really doesn't matter who's in the White House, it'll never be what it was. What it was intended to do had the opposite effect, healthcare has become so expensive and the quality so low that eventually only the wealthy will get quality care. We now have the same garbage that the Brits and Canadians are stuck with.

 

The Obamacare MANDATE was APPROVED by the SCOTUS.

Nothing was "negated", nor was anything "expanded". SCOTUS does not have the power to interpret the Constitution. That power is held by the States. The power to form an air force has always been there. Have you ever read the Constitution?

 

The federal government acted unconstitutionally with regard to Obamacare.

 

The hearings have been moving forward unconstitutionally. The President and his side have not been given due process. They have not been allowed to face their accusers nor question the supposed "witnesses", "whistle-blowers", etc...

They need not cooperate when they are not being offered due process. The whole thing is a sham, as the Dems haven't even voted on impeachment yet.

This country was founded and governed by the wealthy elite and still is. The Constitution is an outline yet those rich elites bastards have tried to subvert the laws to fulfill their own agendas...And Trump is absolutely no different.

 

What part of "due process" was not afforded to the Republicans? During the inquest or investigations there are no cross examinations by the plaintiff and defender that happens during a trial. If you get arrested for drunk driving while the DA is reviewing your case for charges you are not allowed to question the arresting officer or the DA. You are afforded a writ of information to see what your opponents have as far as facts, witnesses and any other information pertinent to the case.
