Exactly, and who can ever forget Winston Churchill's response to Chamberlain and his folly:

"You were given the choice between war and dishonour. You chose dishonour, and you will have war."

Neither France nor the UK were prepared for war nor did they have a military for it.
Even if Chamberlain would have played the strong guy and not tried to appease, I do not think it would have changed anything.

You know the irony is, division of germany kept eastern germany masculine and with prussian values. Far right rules here. Green morons were always low here but now almost anihilated. Im proud for my people

It's just not true. Germany received help from the US, according to Marshal plan after all the pain a suffering Germany lay on Europe, especially Eastern Europe. US took the burden on FRG defence during the Cold War. Without this it is a big possibility, that you would be in same socialist shithole as all Eastern Europe fell after Soviet occupation.

Ok, than in Your case you would stay in the same socialist shithole together with all other Germans.
And Germany had to repay only part of Marshal plan aid, what helped Germany to stand up after devastating war.

Today western Germany is the liberal leftist shithole.

That said Eastern Germany was not rich but better off than all other socialist countries.

Marshal Plan was only made to help american companies to get new markets. You earned money with it.

Then you can go straight to Belorussian holhoz or ADF beloved Russia an earn their 200 to 600 EUR per month. But you will not do it, I bet you better will earn a normal salary, will live in a country where citizen is treated with respect, not like a cattle, and continue to use other achievements of "liberal shithole".
And DRG did not received Marshal plan help. The result - government of DRG have to build the wall, to prevent citizens escape to the FRG.

You just forget to mention, the far left in your State is the strongest party and had gains in the election, too.
The Governor of your State is from the far left, Die Linke.
Your state is the exception concerning the Gruene. They had gains in all the Eastern States.
You may call it masculine, I would call it Der Dumme Rest.

Don't you know your own country's history what happened during the last few weeks of the First World War and what was going on by the Kremlin in Germany before the Nationalist Socialist came to power ?

The Marshall Plan prevented history from repeating itself.

How about stationing 100,000 troops inside Ukraine... very good idea? I mean, you just said ANY deterrence put forth by NATO is a very good idea. Or were you just being hyperbolic?

Yeah, only the US is allowed to invade other countries with impunity.

This sounds like something Hillary Clinton would say.

Yeah, I guess Germany will just have to settle with being financially stable and secure for years to come.

Yeah, they just have a stable economy and society that maintains a high standard of living for most of its citizens.

I would. Germany is the strongest country in Europe. And the smartest. The US should align more closely with Germany. We could achieve great things together.

It is not invalid. East Germany lives of the economic power of West Germany, that's were the music is, that's were the money is earned, which props up the East.
Without the Marshall plan West Germany would not have developed so fast and would not be so rich, that it could afford East Germany and still afford it.
Not much is coming from East Germany, besides NAZIs.

For the time being. Their economy is based on export and they have few natural ressources of their own. They are thus doubly dependent on others for their well being. They're also in the european union fully, which mean that they have open borders with their neighbors, some of which are receiving and giving citizenship to thousands of africans monthly. Those will slowly make their way to where the money is, which for the moment is Germany.

If Germany was struck with heavy tarifs or if Russia shut off the gas, germany suffers.

As for being the smartest... They made some pretty dumb move last century. First they shackled themselves to a corpse (austria) which cost them the first world war and their empire. Then they started another world war knowing full well they didn't have the ressources to wage it past 1942, again the no ressources thing, in this case fuel.

Why should Americans risk a war with Russia just to keep the government of Georgia in power?

Yeah, let's just ignore the fact that it was the Obama administration that helped overthrow Ukraine's elected president before his term was up, thereby causing the eastern half of the country to secede from Ukraine entirely. If we just start history after that point, then we can blame everything on evil Putin.

If Russia wanted to conquer the nominal territory of Ukraine, it could easily do so. Sending lethal arms to the nominal government of Ukraine did nothing to change that strategic reality. Thankfully, Russia has no intention of conquering the Ukrainian rump state, which is why any strategy based on "deterrence" is purely chimerical.

We don't have allies in eastern Europe. We have welfare cases sucking at our teat while they drag us into their ancient feud with Russia. Trump said he would end that sort of thing. Instead, he seems to be heading in the opposite direction. Just another empty promise from a big liar.

Poland, Baltics will be the major bases of operation. The vatniks will be popping veins in their heads when there'll be close to 100K NATO/US troops right on paRussias doorstep.

Vatniks get a cordial "good morning" at their kitchen window, everyday from US Army Cavalry/Army that surround Konigsberg.
Decapitating it would be almost to easy.
