It seems the only military who hasn't got their asses kicked were U.S. Marines.

Actually, the Alps are in Switzerland, and they only run along Switzerland's southern border with Italy. Switzerland's border with France and Germany is much lower in elevation.

No, when in the late 20th Germany again had the biggest and fastest ships crossing the atlantic (Bremen and Europa), the zeppelins, made breathtaking scientific explorations, like nuclear fission, first passenger planes crossing atlantic (DO-X).

Meanwhile France and UK were not able to do that. Germany in the 1920th was the tech and scientific center in the world.

    Ask George W. Bush.

Clearly, he knew the Russians wouldn't risk a war with the U.S. to overthrow the Georgian government.

You're ignoring the fact that the Russians began laying the groundwork for the invasion of Ukraine the same year it invaded Georgia in order to establish a port for its Black Sea Fleet in Abkhazia - a project it would bail on later when it seized the Crimean Peninsula and the port of Sevastopol in a naked act of revanchist aggression.

How many times have we already been over this?

First of all, Russia vowed to respect Ukraine's political and territorial integrity in 1994, so there's nothing "nominal" about its territory. Secondly, the Russian people don't support an invasion of Ukraine which is why Putin hasn't devoured even more of its territory and has been forced to sneak forces into the country, leading to the inevitable lies and dishonorable nonsense like this:

They were never there: Russia's silence for families of troops killed in Ukraine
    https://www.theguardian.com/world/2...silence-for-families-troops-killed-in-ukraine

Third, if the legitimate and democratically elected government of Ukraine thinks purchasing lethal arms will effect the strategic and /or tactical reality in their country it is entitled to act in accordance with its assessment. Finally, last I checked, there's been no mention of sending F-35s to Ukraine - they are being deployed elsewhere in Eastern Europe.

You can believe what you want to believe, but I don't subscribe to your fears. If anyone is going to drag us into a war it is going to be Vladimir Putin. No one, including Trump, is even entertaining the thought of invading Russia.

Of what exactly France and Britain was jealous, and why they did not rise Germany to the ground after WW2

    Bullshit.

France and UK saw Germany as main enemy. WW I was fought because of that. France and UK wanted to cut Germany down. After WW I France and UK wanted achieve extreme hardship om Germany to remove it as power. This failed and led to W W II.

After W W II they tried again but realized it would be their doom.

If they stripped Germany of industry they would have 80 million people go rogue in heart of europe. France would collapse under constant raids from German lands.

    And they're wrong.

Russia started the war when it used the fighting that began with the ceasefire violations committed by its South Ossetian proxies n Georgia as a pretext for invasion . This, like Ukraine, also occurred 6 years after Moscow started handing out Russian passports in Georgia - Putin's calling cards for invasion. Furthermore, we know from Russia's laughably bad logistics capabilities it planned and prepared for the invasion months in advance.

The U.S. Marines in the photo are with the 5th Marine Rifle Regiment.

At the Battle of Belleau Wood while advancing on the Germans in a skirmish line 5th Marines started engaging the Germans from 1,000 yards with deadly accurate rifle fire from their 03- Springfield rifles.

The Germans called the Marines “Teufelshunde,” or dogs from Hell.

What happened at Belleau Wood began the interservice rivalry between the U.S. Army and Marine Corps that lasted until the Vietnam War.

I think it was the Tet Offensive of 1968 that ended the Army/Marine interservice rivalry.

Almost evry german household had automatic weapons. Soldiers plundered army bases after war ended. There were army corpses ruling entire areas in Germany. France would have collapsed under constant attacks from German gangs, decentralized attacks, raids and so on.

France is a country with weak morale, they could not survive with a massive afghanistan style population next them.

    That's news to me.

It's a fact, whether Mrs. Misspelled Plastic Reset Button would say it or not. Unless the Russians are planning on invading or threatening another country they shouldn't have any problem with them exercising their right to self-defense.

But if someone would like to hunt you down, take from you your property, you are expecting, that in court you can find justice, right? What you receive your payment, you are expecting to get at least 1400 euro, not 200, right? You are expected to be able to chose your local authorities and government, right? So one thing - In many places out of your liberal shithole, this is not possible... Think about the question, why Arabs are going to your liberal shithole, why Bremen is full of russians, why don't they live in Russia?

Of course, of course, that's why the atomic bomb was made in the US, and in WW2 technologies like radar helped British to have the upper hand against the Luftwaffe and german submarines. And at 1933. came finest moment of every ADF wouter - great Furer usurped the power and took track towards Germanies destruction.

    I'm asking you.

Your alleged "fact" notwithstanding, the Russian annexation of Crimea only happened because the Obama administration helped a bunch of fascist thugs overthrow the elected president of Ukraine. But you don't want to talk about that because it makes Russia's response appear far more restrained and far more reasonable than you are portraying it as.

The Ukrainian nation-state circa 1994 was effectively dissolved when the elected president was overthrown in a coup. It is now a dysfunctional rump state run largely by western-backed oligarchs and neo-Nazi militias.

Ah, the Guardian. The same newspaper that basically says Trump is a clown who works for Putin.

The legitimate and democratically elected government of Ukraine was overthrown in 2014 with help from the Obama administration. The present government operating out of Kiev isn't even remotely legitimate or democratic, having seized power in a coup.

    I believe in the evidence.

Trump said he would try to improve our relations with Russia. American voters agreed with him. But Trump lied. He's done nothing to improve our relations with Russia. In fact, he's done the exact opposite.

You prefer to defend your property with a gun not with the power of law? Then Germany is not for You, Liberia or Kongo would be a nice place.
