Were the car occupants/driver black? Doesn't matter then. Special exemptions and such. Wouldn't want to seem rayyyycissss so better to just let them do their crime. After which, the remaining family member should probably pay the driver reparations.

Sure the car was very slowly creeping backwards when the shots were fired.

However, to presume that the driver was "trying to back over a police officer" when the shots were fired is a ridiculous stretch of imagination. Especially when you consider the fact that the driver was already deceased when the pig unloaded the second clip.

Your use of the pejorative, 'pig', instantly dismisses any view of yours as that of a biased ********.

I guess that all they needed to do was to exercise their 2d Amendment rights and the cops would have left them alone. Then (I'm sure) the righties would be saying they did well.

An idiot would be any f^cktard who thinks referring to police as 'pigs' does not demonstrate bias.

There are 3 major problems in policing today

    1. Police training.

Police today are trained to shoot first and worry about whether it was justified or not after the fact. They are trained to believe the public is their enemy and to suppress all compassion for the public as human beings. They are trained to respond to every situation with overwhelming force. They are trained that killing is no big deal.

    2. Qualified Immunity.

Police play by different laws than the rest of us. The saying that the law applies to everyone goes out the window when it comes to police. They cannot be prosecuted or sued under Qualified Immunity unless it can be proven their crimes were premeditated, and in the case of suits, unless another officer has been successfully sued for the same offense. They can basically do whatever they want knowing they cannot be prosecuted or sued.
In addition, it is extremely rare that a prosecutor will ever press charges against police. Police and District Attorneys are on the same team and the Prosecutor is very dependent on police support for their political career. In many cases to prosecute a police officer is career suicide for a District Attorney.

    3.
Police unions are another reason Police are rarely prosecuted for crimes. The Police unions often place stipulations within the contract between the city and the Police that suppress evidence and encourage collusion and tampering of witnesses. In addition, police unions often are major contributors to the District Attorneys election campaigns. The unions encourage police solidarity, so that any police officer who reports the crimes of a fellow officer is ostracized by all officers within the union. They are the reason no officer will testify against other officers. They are the reason police crimes are covered up.
In addition they are responsible for the policy of preferential hiring of ex-military for civilian police, as they already come with the military training and adapt easily to the public is the enemy training.

The Rule of Law supersedes any policy.
I find it astonishing there is no higher authority - politician - written law/constitutional backdrop which by default, automatically means there are arrests and charges and court cases for the police officers who behave in this way.
There are hundreds of Youtube videos with police literally breaking the law and even worse, manipulating incidents to their favour as if every person they stop is the enemy. The UK police have also gone this way. I add - those officers who proclaim to be GOOD and SERVE the people and who remain quiet are NOT good and are not serving.

Shooting an unarmed teen in the back of the head was justified, 'police said'. Then [the] video emerged.

An investigation into the 2017 shooting in Fresno, Calif., found that the officer who fired the shot, named in court documents as Sgt. Ray Villalvazo, was justified, and that he feared for his life because the unarmed teen had reached for his waistband.

“A picture is worth a thousand words, and this video is worth a million words,” Stuart Chandler, an attorney for the teenager’s father, told The Washington Post on Thursday. It’s clear this shooting was not justified.

Newly-released footage showed the moment officer Ray Villalvazo shot and killed 16-year-old Isiah Murrietta-Golding after he fled a traffic stop in April 2017.

Yes, meet your unchallenged executioners in the 'land of the free' guvmint, the same guvmint that We The People chartered to 'protect' our rights.

Police investigating themselves, guaranteed justice will be served!

If a criminal doesn't resist arrest then they have a right to a fair trial. The police have to use any amount of force needed to stop a crime in progress and take the perps into custody.

    (A) Police are killed by bad guys stopped in their car who reach around or down or across to grab a gun... this means instant death for the officer.. no replays, no chatting, no time to debate the matter. This is proven fact.
So who among us, who is not a cop, will judge the cop in that situation when the person reaches down with his hands. If I lived in USA I would raise my children to respect and obey the police, when stopped in a car.

    (B) Police are not automatons they are adjudged in law to act reasonable or unreasonable given a set of circumstances. The fact this may result in death does not remove this legal concept.

Seven Baltimore Cops Indicted on Federal Racketeering Charges

Clockwise from top left are Marcus Taylor, Daniel Hersl, Maurice Ward, Jemell Rayam, Evodio Hendrix, Wayne Jenkins, and Momodu Gando.Baltimore Police via AP

Seven Baltimore police officers were indicted Wednesday for federal racketeering crimes ranging from filing false overtime claims while actually at a casino to robbing a driver during a traffic stop.

One of the cops is facing a separate charge for drug distribution.

Investigators said the crimes — some of them committed by some members of the elite Gun Trace Task Force — took place last year as the Department of Justice investigated the Baltimore Police Department for use of excessive force, among other violations.

Happened to me, I didnt blast away at the kid.

These rambo's are MURDERING UNARMED KIDS when the kids are running away with their back to the cop which is no threat to the cop what so ever and the guvmint neglects its responsibility to protect the rights of the people.

I agree there exist psychos in the police. They don a uniform and become absolute mindless thugs. The problem I have is when there evolves an "all police are murderers" narrative. Just as when black people are shot the "its because he is black" narrative is the only narrative. The fact the person is actually a threat or non-compliant with a history of thuggery becomes a non-subject matter.

How incredibly stupid.. Do you expect police officers to wrestle with every fool who resists arrest?

Why are we rehashing an incident that happened in May of 2017?

The headline for this thread ("Police Execution Squads, the Tyrannical Government that Supports them.") is inflammatory and false. One police officer did the shooting, and it was a Grand Jury which declined to prosecute him, not the Government (which called for a Grand Jury).

That's right. Cognitive dissonance takes over. If a taxi driver kills a pedestrian do we say "all Taxi Drivers are killers"?

Such would depend. Did the company sanction the hypothetical killing, or issue directives that could be interpreted as them directing their employees to kill pedestrians routinely?

Cognitive dissonance certainly applies to the headline quoted. No "depends"

    Its political speech
People are still rehashing Jesus Christ, and your problem with that is what?
Grand Jury's make decisions based upon the evidence presented by none other than the gubmint, you know police investigating police. What a racket!
Rambos create incidents [excuses] and in some cases fabricate evidence so they can get away with wasting unarmed kids.

Sometime after 11 p.m. on July 14, Newark police officer Lt. John Formisano went to the house he had shared with his since-estranged wife to drop off a pair of glasses for one of their children, he would later tell authorities. He remembers realizing that a “male guest” might be present. He said he “blacked out.”

What came next, prosecutors say, was a rampage that ended with one woman dead, a man seriously wounded and a Jefferson Township, N.J., block traumatized by a killing on its doorstep.

Morris County prosecutors have accused Formisano, 49, of killing his wife, Christie Formisano, 37, and seriously wounding a man reported to be her boyfriend, whom authorities did not name.

But Formisano has yet to make his first court appearance, which under New Jersey law typically happens within two days of a defendant being taken to jail. The prosecutor’s office told The Washington Post on Thursday that he is in a hospital. https://www.washingtonpost.com/nati...prosecutors-say-he-killed-his-estranged-wife/

Make America safe again from Rambo cops!

    Yep, SOP

So criminals dont have a right to a fair trial in your opinion?
I guess what is the point of having rights if Rambo's can just shoot someone on sight like that last post with Rambo shooting an unarmed kid running away in the back of the head, then lying that the kid reached for a weapon that only a delusional Rambo and the tyrannical gubmint that supports them could see?
Courts and justice are a big waste of time and money?
I expect them to be arrested not shot full holes by a trigger happy psychopathic Rambo!

So you prefer skip the trial and all that inconvenient red tape?

You are the one talking about "police execution squads". LOLOL You have to be arrested or indicted before you can get a judge and jury.. You should have learned that long ago.

You can cite all the isolated incidents of police brutality you can find, but in this nation of 230 million people, it is disingenuous of you to use the broadest brush to paint all police and the government as evil.
