Impeachment of Clinton at 60% approval pushed him to 75% approval but his crimes were trivial by comparison and unrelated to America's national interests. Trump being impeached, which is by now a foregone conclusion with a ceiling of 42% approval, negates the relevance of whatever happens in the senate, it will hurt Trump not dems. You won't even admit it to yourself, but you would be apoplectic if a dem did what Trump has done. Trump is done, period, one way or another, longest he possibly has is till election time, if that.

What Trump's army of historical revisionists don't want you to know is that the House has granted Trump MORE rights than any of us would have at this stage of a criminal proceeding. This is just another attempt to try Trump in the court of public opinion and it will fail. The Democrats are committing suicide and I suspect that the few honorable members of the party that are left will welcome the purge. If what remains of the party survives we might be able to heal America but that won't happen as long as you and others cling to the ridiculous notion that America should be some sort of Socialist state. That is what this is all about and has been for fifty plus years. America is the greatest nation to ever exist and the envy of the world and the target of those who would destroy it. That destruction will not come in the form of a nuclear attack or enemy forces on our shores it will come from within and has been.
