    In your dreams

If California were its own nation, it would be the fifth largest economy in the world. With a GDP of $2.9 trillion, California would slot between Germany and the United Kingdom in the world's top economies.

The Golden State makes up 14% of the US economy

While California would be an economic force as its own nation, so too would the Bay Area alone.

With a GDP of $535 billion, the San Francisco Bay Area would rank 19th in the world when ranked against national economies.

The Bay Area is home to 7 million people in nine counties and 101 cities, including San Francisco, Oakland, and San Jose.

The $74,815 GDP per capita is more than London and Singapore

California was ranked the fourth-best US state economy by the personal finance website Wallet Hub.

Despite having a GDP that would rank among the largest in the world, the ranking looked at more than the crucial number.

The state was hampered by its ranking of 32nd in economic health, which looks at unemployment, underemployment, payroll change, poverty rate, foreclosure rate, and uninsured population.

More than two-thirds of the nation's fruits and nuts and a third of vegetables grown in the United States come from California.

There are more than 25 million acres of farms in the Golden State, led by dairy products, grapes, almonds, strawberries, cows, and lettuce.

The University of California system, including UCLA and the University of California, contribute more than $46 billion yearly to the state's economy. With 1.7 million living alumni, the University of California system has produced 61 noble laureates.

Meanwhile, the California State University system produces $17 billion a year in economic activity and one in every 10 California workers is a graduate, as more than half of alumni stay in the state.

The seaports in Long Beach and Los Angeles are the two largest seaports in the United States, handling 40% of inbound US containerized freight.

Los Angeles International Airport is the third-most active international cargo airport, but its passenger service flies to 91 US cities and 41 nations.

All told, international trade from LA County exceeds $400 billion each year.

California experienced a 3.2% increase in its median home value since last year, and is now up to $548,700 as of this publication, according to Zillow.

In San Francisco, the median home value is a sky-high $1.19 million, and it's $629,900 in Los Angeles.

Meanwhile, the national median home price is $226,300.

What's happening in CA is entirely the work of the Left:

They have been spending on Green Boondoggles which are cash scams from/for the Left, rather than infrastructure maintenance and upgrades.

PG&E has completely failed at their core mission, of course their leadership is responsible.

PG&E will simply go bankrupt escape their debts to the people and carry on business as usual.

I'm sure they were already working on the paperwork before the Paradise fire was out. However, the Sierra Club should get sued as well for trying to stop PG&E from clearing trees from near the power lines.

The rest of the United States fully supports the Cal-exit!

We'll just retrieve our nuclear weapons, our federal military resources, our federal funding, and be on our way!

Just say the word lil Fella!

Here are the BS from the Right Wing Propaganda Parade!

If anyone would want, you could look at the ACTUAL request to not cut trees was concerned a TOTAL of 100 TREES by power lands on a local park the has nothing to do the Camp Fire, other than fire rings in the park!

Trying to make this ridiculous comparison to the Camp Fire forest fire is simply the usual Righ Wing BS.

More Right Wing Hocum and out right lies.

    Look at this "map"!
Look at California, it is complete dark, done probably the samp black magic marker that Trump used to show the non-existent"hurricane" in Arkansas for whatever drunken fantasy the Republicans concocted.

However, In real life, many areas in California is somewhat darker than Eastern cities because there is a big effort to support power conservation and efficiency!

Further, in order to help stop destroying the environment for animal and plant life by requiring lights are designed to direct light down into the places it is useful (streetlights, ball fields, neighborhood lights) and don't let light go up into the trees and sky, which damages the insects, birds, and areas that need to have a dark time each day.

Tell that to the thousands who do not have homes. And those who have lost loved ones to these wildfires caused by faulty, defective, and poorly maintained equipment fueled by tree branches too close to power lines and brush and dead trees which have not been cleared due to environmental impact study requirements and appropriation of funds to green programs which will do nothing to reduce the rate of global warming temperature increase.

So a specific park group are opposing a total of 100 trees to be cut down because their local park has small stand of old growth is causing thousands of homeless people and uncountable numbers of killing people because of "green programs" and all of the money that could have swept up all the dead trees (in millions of acres of federal forests)?

The hysterical terror from the Republican who suddenly "care" about people is quite touching when they notice a tiny "risk" in a neighborhood park!

    Get 'em, Trumpies!
