You wiped the floor with that Bailto person. It's astonishing that years after Charltottesville so many dems/libs keep repeating the same lie time and time again. Goebells like. They repeated their lies so many tiimes that they actually started believing in them. Despite the evidence proving otherwise. Worrying.

But they were thought to be crazy to degree? You are admitting that aren't you?

Maybe you don't remember the fear and derision people had for President Reagan.

So how are they fighting the 1st amendment?

And they are supporters of increasing election security, but repubs have blocked it

And didn't gun ownership go UP under Obama

Man, that's a lot of wrong in one post

    Love the irony!

The "deep state" = the Establishment with a scary Halloween mask. The 1960's Hippies would have loved it, but at least, they were honest (and informed).

I hear a great deal of talk among Trump supporters about corruption and lies by others. I don't recall much in the way of substantiation on either activity, just more unverified opinion. Although the do have the impeccable source of all truth, Hannity. On the other hand, the Left seems to have no trouble posting voluminous lists of Trump's lies and corruption. So, who are we to believe, those that scream from the rooftops about the "other guys" or a long list of accepted facts based on videos, investigations, etc.? Reading and research are valuable instruments of truth, but some don't seem inclined to invest the energy.

A lot of those kind of unsubstantiated attacks are the current rage surrounding the impeachment inquiry. Republicans seem to be in a constant state of evolution from "it never happened, it's a witch hunt a hoax" to "yes it happened but it wasn't a big deal." One can believe what they wish, but for Republicans, what is your current belief? It's hard to keep up with your rapidly evolving rationalization. In some ways, it is utterly laughable. Trump denies he ever, ever would have use a quid pro quo under any circumstance while he stands in front of a video cam asking China to investigate Biden and get the trade talks moving. Yikes! This guy is either confident of his ability to hoodwink his base or is unimaginably stupid. Probably a bit of both.

Then there is the GOP's standard practice of attacking the messenger. The trouble is, there's a lot of messengers now and even more to come forward. Trump's obsession with the whistleblower is like focusing on a match that started a five alarm fire. Either he hasn't figured out that it no longer matters and events have moved way beyond that point, or he thinks his base will swallow anything. Trump really isn't very bright and the sharp elbow stuff that worked with developers, suppliers, workers, thugs, and mafioso pals doesn't work too well with honest citizens. He never knew and still doesn't get the fact that outing a whistleblower is against the law. But what the hell.

There trying to track down a handful of rogue asses that acted well beyond there own authority destroyed several people's lives in a veinglorious attempt to destroy a president they clearly both disliked and feared. In the end they've only revealed themselves to be sad, corrupt little bird turds full of animous, hubris, and a total lack of either self awareness or humility.

What's happened is the fraying of America's social/institutional fabric, present before President Shithole took office (and the reason a man like him could be elected), has been damaged further in ways large and small. Skepticism about our institutions can be traced back to the Vietnam War and Watergate. But confidence has taken a body blow under the Orange Pig. Government was previously under attack in the abstract. Now dedicated civil servants are accused of being corrupt, the media has been cast as the enemy of the people (nothing could be further from the truth), and while white nationalism is on the rise the idea of sacrifice for the sake of the nation has been replaced by narcissistic self interest. We have not been destroyed, but we are severely weakened..........and Putin smiles.

Really? Germany look destroyed to you ;) And one other factor, he had the people behind him, Trump or for that matter no U.S. president has had that sort of following! Granted, like Germanies and the soft minded sheople that bought his bullshit we too have a socialist sub culture that are not unlike those of that era..

Just think of our wealth in this country as the Jews with lots of gold teeth and how much better we would be stripping them down to nothing for the betterment of the Party ;)

They have been posted here numerous times.. I particularly enjoy the Cunny haters and the darker group that's favorite food is "Pigs in a blanket. Fry 'em like bacon!". Although I'll admit I never understood how a baked treat be fried, unless they are baked first and them fried in bacon grease?

From the looks and size of many of them I suspect baked and then fried is the recipe along with a scoop vanilla ice-cream ;)

There was a transformation of the United States, some good, some bad. The LGBT community was empowered under Obama, environmentally responsible acts like the Clean Air Act was passed, the EPA was empowered which helped unmask the Flint crisis, the bad? Obamacare wasn't executed correctly, technology has advanced thus being responsible for taking jobs, the amount of resentment toward Obama such as birtherism and conspiracy theories, trust me without Obama, we would hurt much more than we do now. Republicans didn't do anything when alarms started going off at GM in 2004-05. A Republican president would not have helped GM and Chrysler. So, Obama pretty much saved the economy.

But aside from that to get back on topic, while Obama poked at Fox News (now The Trump State Network), he never attacked the press, which in turn is attacking the First Amendment since that amendment guarantees a free press. Calling the press an enemy is attacking the 1A.

Both sides abhor the treatment of migrant children at the border. Which administration brought up the Zero Tolerance policy that prompted Laura Bush to speak up?

Against proper voting laws? It's not attacking anything to make voting a human right, and not a privilege like driving or drinking.

Repealing the electoral college is not a radical idea. In fact, it gives more of a voice to the people. In fact, the EC basically guarantees a Republican win every time, because its not taking into account the true will of the people. Red in the south, red in the Great Plains, purple in the Midwest, the popular vote is indicative of the will of the people, which is how factually one can say America is a democratic leaning country. Decades show the popular vote has shown a preference for Democrats, and not just on the west or east coasts. Look at the numbers yourself, the people didn't want Trump. They didn't want Bush in 2000. The only time in modern history the popular vote was indicative we wanted a Republican president was in 2004. If Wyoming and Nebraska want a bigger say in the matter, expand the population.

There's so much more to your post I could debunk but that would simply derail the thread (such as the "attacks" on the 2A).

America is gone, dude. It disappeared when Lincoln decided that the constitution didn't matter, the 4th amendment didn't matter, the 10th amendment didn't matter.

America started as a constitutional republic. Now these incredible morons think that America is a democracy, and that the constitution is a "living document" which is just telling you that the words don't mean dick.

America has been gone for a very very very long time. What we have now is just crap not worth wasting anything on.

I would say that the environment is more important that your desire to own a machine gun.

you can think that but you'd be wrong..

THE most important thing to do for the environment is to keep the economy cranking.
unless you want unemployed people cutting down trees to heat their homes and killing all the animals to eat

I think we can all agree, more than any other President, Trump has caused a deep chasm between those who support him and those who don't.

    Are you serious?

It is funny you should say that because you avoid dealing with what Trump actually does and says. You deal only in hyperbole like that mindless statement, and you don't dare deal with any of my threads.
