How horrible Lincoln was, thinking that Black people should have the same rights as White people. You let Blacks vote and the next thing you know, and women were thinking that they should also get the right to vote. If women can vote, then surely homosexuals should be able to marry....

While he was of course against slavery, IIRC Lincolns most fervent hope (a common one for most abolitionists) was that former slaves in the U.S. would "self deport". In this video, a white debate student records his black WSU professor. The student ended up dropping the class which is a shame because he was the only kid in the entire class who could do the logic thing.

Anyhow in this class the professor explores the following themes:
1. Space, science and technology are fictional constructs that were invented by white people to oppress black people
2. Black astronauts (who the professor didn't know existed) are part of the conspiracy
3. All white people should be sent to space (this one is particularly grotesque because it borders on genocidal). Kind of laughable since he has already stated that space is a white construct.
4. Tells the black students that they can ignore the white student's arguments because he is white.
5. Belittles and curses the white kid because of his race.

Weber State University (in the heart of Utah) is allowing this. It is looking like the kid could be kicked from the school for documenting this open and malicious racism. I admire the balls of this kid for standing up for whats right and his for his rhetorical abilities... (he absolutely demolished the professor in argumentation). If we stand by and allow this poison to be injected into kids at college, how could the results be anything other than horrific?

Because of the growing number of incidents like the one posted above. This professor is a national debate winner and he won with racist language as shown in the video. This is what it takes to be a national debate winner now, open racism against whites.

Did you know that the state of Utah is more or less run by the Mormons. Weber State began as a Mormon college, which the state eventually took over. I know that you are here trying to make liberals look bad, but the fact of the matter is, Weber State is not a liberal minded college, Ogden isn't exactly known for being liberal. Weber State is described as being over priced for a second rate education. It is where kids from Colorado, who are unable to qualify for the good Colorado Universities, go.

Lincoln started a civil war, which completely annihilated the constitution. He had no authority to do it, but he did anyway. Maybe he wanted to let blacks vote, or maybe he didn't want to be the guy who was president when the country was split in two. Whatever his reasons, he destroyed the constitution in the process. Universities don't really care who they hire, so long as there are enough people willing to pay to attend the class. This professor is nothing more than a pet rock. Nobody knows why they sold like they did, but they did so why the hell not?

There is a school of philosophical thought that says things don't exist, unless one senses them. It gets confused up with the physics problem of the act of observation influencing what is being seen.

Anyhow, there are social science types who often take scientific or philosophical language and insert it into their rhetoric. I think they do it in an effort to sound more intelligent than they really are. Which is obvious in the recording.

There was even a big scandal a couple of decades back. A couple of physicists, as a joke, had written an article, talking the way social scientists speak, but laying on the physics jargon heavily. They then submitted it to a psychology journal, who printed it as a letter. In the letters in the journal, over the next few months, from social scientists applauded it for its insightfulness. That is until it was revealed that it was all a joke.

 

You're probably talking about solipsism. It's an interesting philosophical conundrum, but few take seriously. The quantum mechanics side of that is certainly quite interesting. The double slit experiment makes absolutely negative sense to me, so maybe the solipsists have a point.
