... and partnered with Julie Brown of the Miami Herald when she broke the sweetheart deal story that put Epstein behind bars for good after 2 years of interviewing Epstein victims and exposing the brokered deal that Dershewitz got with with Trump friend, Alexander Acosta, that let Epstein go back and rape more children.

Epstein went back into jail BECAUSE of the Miami Herald story and their partnership with WLRN (NPR).

By the company’s explanation, this was for the sake of an editorial standard, a standard that was strangely missing from its coverage of another significant moment in recent U.S. history.​

It helps explain why people increasingly reject the role of the media as wise gatekeepers, capable of deciding what is newsworthy. Stephanopoulos has carried water for the Clintons for years, sitting on the Clinton Foundation board, which was House Clinton's de facto route for disguised bribery. He also went to a dinner party for Clinton's revolting buddy, Epstein, right after he got out of jail on a diluted child prostitution rap, something which was like a drunk driver being convicted for spitting on the sidewalk. Stephanopoulos knew, and no, he didn't treat Epstein like a pariah. He partied with him. And he's also a bigshot at ABC News.

They don't look at themselves that way. They feel that they know best for the hoi polloi and that attitude was shared in the highest levels of the CIA, FBI and IRS also. They're all part of the same family.

The intoxicating power of these people draws in others who may be useful and they'll do whatever it takes, like ignoring or fudging a story, to maintain their status, or their job, and remain on the exciting fringes of power..

They don't have any more respect for 'the people' than they did for those young girls (and boys) on Epstein's island. They're all just a means to an end.

 

They had a story on a serial rapist, highly connected to elites in society, years ago and they decided to squash the story because it may implicate some important people.
