You can't tell the difference between a sitting President with executive privilege and a Richard Cabesa spouting crapola?

You were the one who said you wanted cross-examination of "everyone involved". Except, apparently, the person who is central to the entire story.

You want to keep him in a safe space. Understood. President snowflake.

So much for a fair event allowing both sides the chance to make their case to the American people.

if I were Schiff, I'd want to keep the whistleblower safe from GOP questions as well.

It speaks directly to whether Trump had legitimate concerns about US corruption in the Ukraine. We already know who the "whistleblower" was so Schiff is just lying again at this point when he says he's blocking his testimony to protect him.

LOL Facebook deleted my post 5x naming

    ERIC CIARAMELLA as the whistleblower!

    I just keep posting it.

Yeah, THAT'S not shady, considering the bullshit that went on around Kavanaugh alone!

The American people is not the jury here.... Trump's been "making his case" since he release the rough notes of the call, via the only medium that works for him... I'm sure his rants have changed zero minds....

He can make an actual defense in front of the Senate... I sure hope he comes up with more than Hunter Biden and Nellie Ohr, because I doubt the Senate will waste their time with that cheese either...

The American people ARE the Jury, and Executioner.. we elected the Reps. The judge, well.. that's an appointed position.

The problem is, the Reps are only faithful to themselves, rather than the law..And sadly, many Justices seem to work that way too.

You must have found that in a fortune cookie somewhere.... sounds good in theory, but it doesn't work that way in reality...

Nobody is challenging the law here... Impeachment is a valid constitutional process and everything has been done in line with that... so far...

The democrats ARE challenging the law.

Just because someone MIGHT end up being an opposing candidate, at some point, does NOT mean that the POTUS doesn't have a responsibility to investigate corruption.

Seems you pulled your argument, out of your ass.

    Doubtful.

The Senate won't convict, on the pile of rodent feces presented to date.

If the leadership thinks it will keep them in office somehow they will bend over backwards eagerly to do it.

The evidence would have to be... well... actual evidence of a crime.

Or for sure, they'll be out next cycle.

I'll give the Trumpeters Hunter Biden in exchange for Ivanka and Benedict Donald Jr. under oath and in front of the cameras immediately afterwards.

    Any takers?
