She knows she is misleading the public' Mark Cuban is no conservative and hes one of many Rich democrats to come out against Pocahontas the school teacher. I have my fingers crossed she wins the nomination. Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban became the latest tycoon to criticize Sen. Elizabeth Warren at the weekend, but he dared to make the ultimate attack on the progressive hero. He compared her to President Trump. In a series of tweets criticizing Ms. Warren’s socialized-medicine plan and accusing her of Trumpesque snake-oil peddling, Mr. Cuban noted that Ms. Warren is “filthy rich” and thus a hypocrite in her constant rhetorical bashing of the wealthy. “The reality for @ewarren is that this is as much to divert attention from her income and net worth as anything else,” he wrote, noting that only Tom Steyer of the then-official candidates is wealthier. https://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2019/nov/11/mark-cuban-filthy-rich-elizabeth-warren-misleading/
She’s ridiculous. I can’t stand people who get on a hypocritical soap box and lecture us like we are little peons in their sick game. Let me know when you pay healthcare for 100 needy out of our own coffers!!
Seem’s like many Billionaires are absolutely terrified of Warren. They are pretty much making her case for her.
Seems like Chief Cheroke Warren has your vote! Makes sense- I don't think anyone here is surprised that you're campaigning for her. Meanwhile, the Dem party is in civil war (Here comes BLOOMBERG lol!)
Bloomberg has close to zero support. I don’t particularly like Warren or any of the candidates outside of Tulsi. I like portions of each of their campaigns but do not agree with the illegal immigration issues or dissolving private healthcare entirely.
Seems you like warren a lot, given the post I responded to. Odd that you're now taking a step back. Oh well. The Dem civil war is only helping Trump.
How did you get “I like warren a lot” out of “they are pretty much making her case for her.” That’s a stretch even by your standards.
You rushed to her defense that quickly. You even cited a chart that smells of excitement for her. It was your post, not mine. No need to be embarrassed that you support her. There's like 80 other people in this country that kinda support her too
Oh my goodness! Posting an image from a google search that took 30 seconds to find indicate bigly support for warren. Jfc
Her plan for health care aside, "filthy rich"? https://www.businessinsider.com/elizabeth-warren-net-worth-wealth-real-estate-assets $12 million in total net worth for two people is not "filthy rich" by anyone's standards. That's merely a comfortable retirement account, a few smart investments in real estate over the years. Sheesh.
Double standard on display. Would you rag on the way the male candidates dress? I very much doubt it. She looks comfortable to me.
If she is pissing off the super-rich like this, then I'm on board. The world has no need for billionaires.
We need to assure equality of opportunity, not equality of income, which will never happen anymore than college students will get the same grades.
Presenting facts about the wealth gap is now considered to be support for Warren? I didn't get the memo on that. Seriously, there was nothing in that post in support of Warren. Just a giant graphic or screen capture with statistics from a few years ago. That's like me claiming that you don't believe there is a wealth gap because you don't like or understand that post.
I don't envy them. The amount of crap they have to deal with in their lives is not something I would ever want the hassle of. Look at the increased risks of simple Lotto winners (100+ percent increase in potential kidnappings of you or your family, hits, attacks, scam artists...etc), which only goes up exponentially the richer you get. No Thanks. I'd be happy with about 4million, which would garner me about 200k per year in interest generated. Just enough to be secure and happy. No, my comment is more because the world simply doesn't need Billionaires, and the things that are necessary for them to exist are detrimental to society as a whole in the long term.
The past three years have seem tremendous gains for the wealthiest Americans as Dirty Donalds tax policies have further exacerbated the growing income gap between the have and have nots.A great example recently was JPMORGAN CEO Jamie Dimon justifying his $31 Million salary on the banks good performance. While that may be true to an extent, but if the rank and file branch bank employee was not doing their job in dealing with the public correctly his decisions would be irrelevant because customer contact is all important. So whatever the bonus he received, it would have been better spent if spread over hundreds of employees, especially as to getting that money back into the economy.
$200k on $4 million is a 5% annual return. Good luck getting that when the yield on the 10 year treasury is currently less than 2%. Of course you could earn higher yields in the stock market, corporate bonds, etc. but then you are taking on greater risk. You also have to factor in inflation, cost of living, unexpected events, health, etc. $200k might seem like enough for your security and happiness today but might not be enough in the future. Also, the area you live in is very important, $200k might be fine for someone living out in the country but not a major city where the cost of living is much higher.
LOL - Seems like Lefties are fond of their "fear" fantasy. Someone criticizes a spewing fountain of Marxist class warfare rhetoric and they must be "absolutely terrified" of her. We've heard the same nonsense when people ridicule another socialist crackpot from the Bronx who also likes to fantasize about multi-trillion dollar government power grabs. It can't be that someone is merely pointing out the fact that Fauxcahontas is a wealthy, hypocritical fraud who is misleading the public when she says the middle class won't have to pay for her multi-trillion dollar government power grab. No, they must fear her, even though standing up to someone really isn't a sign of fear. So, exposing her fraudulence is "making her case for her". Sounds more like belaboring the obvious to me...
