    You certainly have an unfettered right to allow people to lie to you and accept that; others demand when a promise is made, that it be kept. How tough can that be for you to digest?

    Trump should be sweating gold because when he admitted to self dealing his own charity it opened him up to having to pay extra tax on all that money

    Actually most Aussies do..... We are about to jail one bloke who was caught with his dirty fingers in the cookie jar and he is hardly the first we have slung in prison

    y'alls seem to only be bitchin 'bout trump's 'broken promises', yet he honored more of his campaign promises than any other prez in recent usa history...

    No I'm not furious; I honestly expected this from Trump since it's common knowledge that he is a dishonest businessman. That being said is it being unreasonable to ask someone to keep a promise they made?

    The way he has protected his tax returns from public scrutiny he musty have a multitude of sins hidden in them.You KNOW DAMN well if he had been paying his fair share and had lots of charitable deductions he would be showing them on TV nightly.

    Campaign promises broken by Trump.

    Failure to have Mexico pay for the wall 100% (in fact no money received from them for the wall)
    Fence erected instead of 40 ft Concrete wall as promised
    Failure to repeal Obamacare despite campaign promise of a "superior medical plan compared to Obamacare"
    Failure to cancel all funding for sanctuary cities
    Failure to establish a commission on radical Islam
    Failure to have mandatory minimum sentences for those illegally entering the US
    Failure to enact term limits
    Failure to appoint a special prosecutor to investigate Hillary Clinton
    Failure to release his taxes once the audit was completed
    Failure to invest in our infrastructure ($550 billion promised)
    Failure to bring back waterboarding
    Failure to allow individuals to deduct health care insurance premiums from income taxes.
    Failure to administer medicade through block grants
    Failure to remove existing Syrian refugees
    Failure to sue his accusers of sexual misconduct
    Failure to create targeted child tax care credits
    Failure to cut the number of tax brackets
    Failure to repeal the alternate minimum tax
    Failure to balance the federal budget in a timely fashion
    Failure to stop the AT&T-Time Warner merger
    Failure to provide indisputable proof that Barack Obama was not a US Citizen

    So, It would appear that Trump not only broke a few promises, he broke numerous promises made to the American people made during his campaign for president.

    What is the probable cause of a crime in seeking those private records? There is a thing called the 4th Amendment which protects us from unreasonable search and seizure.

    And I know a good percentage at th moment who are giving a pass to Trump on taxes are the same posters who were howling and brayi about Obama not realising his “long form” birth certificate
