    And?

Do you hear rabbi's calling for "Revert or Die"? "Kill the infidels wherever you find them"?.

The 2 Abrahamic religions both had reformation.

Where is the reformation for Islam?

There will be none. The Leadership will kill anyone who tries.

No, I just want it clear that Israel IS at war, regardless of the exact enumeration of who they are at war with - or why.

BUT, as long as you bring it up:

Curt Schilling was fired by ESPN for his statements about transgender persons.

He does have a history of anti-Muslim comments. It's not like this was a one time mistake.

ESPN has a right to retain who they will, and I'm not even slightly surprised that they chose not to tolerate hate speech. They are interested in a wide family oriented audience.

I don't see any indication that Schilling even bothered to apologize, walk back his comments or otherwise show efforts to conform to what one would consider legitimate sports analysis/comment.

He even went so far as accusing people of not having acceptance and tolerance of his intolerance!! When people go there, you know there isn't a lot of hope.

Who is it that you are claiming is their "Leadership"?

Are you considering tiny terrorist groups that are hard to even find as the "Leadership"?

Are you considering Iran's Shiite leadership as the "Leadership" even though Shia make up only 10% of Islam?

Are you saying that he was engaging in hatred by comparing radical Islam to Nazism?

Yes. That 10% holds the rest in check, so therefore they are the real leaders..

I should have called them "enforcers" though I guess.

I don't know what he said about Islam.

BUT, I'm not even slightly surprised that ESPN is not interested in discussions of Nazism, being disparaging of any minority group in the US, etc.

If he pointed out that Israel is running a harsh open air prison of nearly 2 million hopeless and destitute people in Gaza, I'd expect that would be problematic for ESPN, too. Or, if he decided to attack Trump or Biden, or whatever.

    LMAO!

The fact that ZERO members are leading a reformation of Islam, is ALL the proof I need.

I just told you what he said. He compared radical Islam to Nazism. Do you think that's okay?

It's not OK from the point of view of ESPN selling it's product.

I think comparisons to Nazism are pretty much always nonsense. First of all, they are made in a flip, offhand manner with no real analysis of exactly what is meant by the two and what behavior is being compared. We tend to ignore motivations, have simplistic views concerning solutions and tend to think that a good dose of the US military will solve something and that the carnage of our response will be forgiven at once. We don't know what is important about our OWN government (as show recently) and can't be depended on to have good opinions of what is necessary in other governments where we have far less information.

We in the US tend to make some fairly large mistakes about the ME.

I don't tune into ESPN sports to hear some asshat expound on Nazis and radicals.

Very clearly Gaza lost the war a long, long time ago.

The catch is that Israel, who has unquestionably won, won't stop or negotiate, but continues to wage war on Gaza.

The leadership of Gaza attempted to join the unity government designed by Abbas wherein they agreed to independence through negotiation only. That would have put Hamas out of business, as they would no longer be funded by border crossing revenue and would no longer be significant in aiding the desperate population of Gaza. Leadership in Gaza is in an incredibly weak position and determined that being represented by the unity government would be better for the people of Gaza, as Abbas has show progress in reducing violence and in appealing to an international audience.

Netanyahu prevented the unity government from happening.

Just to address one falsehood in your rant, it is a myth that Islam produced major scientific advancements. See http://www.ninevehsoft.com/fiorina.htm

Muslims are 20% of the world population, yet have won only six Nobel Prizes, and one went to the terrorists Arafat. Jews are .2% of the worlds population and have won 148.

    Islam is a retarding influence.
