Texas Court Stays Execution Of Rodney Reed

Another controversial death row case. Who is right and wrong here? Will all the celebrities supporting him have an effect?

 

It's time this barbaric practice ceased. This is the 21C not the 16th.

 

If there is real evidence he is innocent, look at it, but it could be a delaying tactic, all lawyers say their clients are innocent. If he's guilty, execute him ASAP, it's called due process.

What is barbaric is the lack of justice for crime victims in this country. A man who rapes and murders a woman should not be subject to an old school hanging or electric chair. Not death by lethal injection.

Reeds DNA was found on the murdered woman and he had attacked other women. Yet in the land of liberalism he is not guilty and the murder woman pronounce his girl friend to explain the DNA.

Rodney's mother, Sandra Reed told CBS Austin she was more than relieved when she learned her son would live longer than she thought the justice system would allow.

"I am so happy. I am one one happy, happy mother," said Sandra.

The same can't be said for the victims mother.

Everybody saw the Oprah Winfrey and the Hollywood elite rally around this murderer and rapist. There is something broken in the left where they like to go back and help black people who murdered whites to get away with their crime. The racism is not even concealed. They talk incessantly about an all-white jury convicted this man as if the evidence does not matter, only the identity of the jurors. Keep this kind of **** up and you will eventually succeed in lighting a fuse to real and profound racial violence.... the kind of tribal warfare you see in the Middle East and Africa.

All the righties here are screaming for blood, yet when a DA re-tries a case 5 times until he gets the verdict he likes( it's happened in various states, including TX) or a cop fabricates evidence (it's happened in TX , too) , it is as silent as the grave.

When you execute an innocent person(and that has happened in TX too) , righties simply don't care.

One appeal first. Then if the conviction is upheld, on with the show (so to speak).

I wonder how many killers spared the death penalty go on to kill in prison?
