    Trump is in his 70's. Most of us would be lucky to make it to that age, let alone do as he does.

    Actually, most people on this forum will get to their 70s, so there is nothing 'lucky' about it. I was tempted to say that most of us couldn't do a worse job than Trump, but sadly that is probably not true. Not a ringing endorsement of PF I'm afraid.

    Maybe the random violence, but the rest has more to do science than luck. Most people on this forum will pass Trump's current age & it won't be due to 'luck'.

    Perhaps some of the anti-Trump crowd would agree with you, but I don't. The fact is that neither of us 'know' him, so we are only putting out our opinions on him. And my opinion is that he is the sort of personality to whom winning is most important. Losing is not an option. So given the choice of quitting in the face of a certain loss or losing - I believe he would choose quitting. But because his ego is tied to all his decisions, he would have to make it look like he HAD to quit.

    Again, just my opinion...

    I don’t see Trump turning down the chance to run another election cycle as he clearly loves it. The only way I’d see him stepping down for medical reasons is if he manages to get elected again. He clearly doesn’t enjoy the actual job, just the process of getting it.
