The issues were due to aftermarket THC/nicotine pods. Banning flavored ecigs is just plain stupid. It would just create demand for more aftermarket vape products. Did we learn nothing from prohibition or the war on drugs?

Oh it is not a hill. It just another recent and significant example of Trump flip-flopping on a policy that he chose to announce on a whim. And whereas the "abortion" policy switch took years to alter, this one - and the others cited in the OP - took about six weeks.

And that inability to demonstrate any type of consistency with policy making is a dangerous attribute in the Presidency.

The OP did not discuss whether the ban was a good idea or a bad idea. And I will explicitly say that I never believed the announced ban was a good idea or likely to happen. I pretty much figured that Trump would flip flop very shortly after announcing the ban.
