Trump loves the uneducated because they are easier to manipulate and fool.

The educated and the middle class suburban people are moving away from Trump because he destroying the fabric of American society and the GOP lawmaker mob who swarm around Trump's butt.

This election could see the start of the destruction of the GOP who now stand for nothing but Trump's lies.

Donald Trump is becoming the most reviled POTUS in American history.

Sounds like some degree of class warfare going on. Why are the suburban middle class not conservative these days?
    Very interesting turn of events.

Seems like Democrats are getting the poor and middle class, while Trump is getting the lower middle class.

Name calling, calling people stupid, destroying America, most reviled blah blah blah blah blah and blah...

    did you have a point?

I get dinged here constantly and even banned once for calling lefties less than mildly unhinged, but you'll get away with this because... well... hmm... I wonder why...

Careful dems. Our trumper friends are being hurt by our calling them names. The fact they love and support the biggest name caller in the world sure makes me smile. I wonder if being under educated has any direct correlation to being easily brainwashed.

    under educated?

Sure, Trump calls people names. I understand why he does it, and it is affective. I just find it amusing. Same as when you do it.

What I don't understand is why I am constantly dinged by the mods here for the same thing, but they don't seem to be particularly troubled by anybody else doing the same thing.

Undereducated? Seriously? Do you honestly believe that 'education' makes a person intelligent or provides common sense?

Those traits need to exist prior to 'education'. Anyone can go through the motions to get a piece of paper, it doesn't make them intelligent or know how to apply what they were presented.

Things have changed massively since I was in college... they are now told what to think, not how to think.

I am hard pressed to think of an election where Republicans haven't taken a beating this past year. In only a couple of instances Democrats have won and in some cases like Virginia, have won big. Instead of reflecting in why this might be, Republicans on this board have rationalized and disparaged the results. Contrast this to Democrats that took a drubbing in 2016 and did some serious soul searching into why they lost. Most dems have learned their lesson and that is reflected in shifting primary results. Republicans have not learned yet and their "base" will never learn.

One thing I've learned this past year is that democrats are, if nothing else, really serious about getting back into power. The results are that republicans lost the house, and they might continue to lose even in 2020.

In other words, I grant you all that you have said. If you want us to genuflect on why this is happening, then I can't help you. I just want the government to go far enough away that it can be ignored. I argue for this here, I vote for who I think least wants to be in power, and just hope that others feel the same way.

Why are democrats winning? Well, I guess that maybe Americans just don't want freedom as much as I do.

We have reflected on it. EVERYBODY knows that Virginia has swung blue by using demographic replacement as they did in California. The Democrats realize that they can have iron clad control by pitting whites against every other demographic and then importing millions of ready made brown voters from other countries. It is also noticeable that increasingly Democrats favor immigrants that are either criminal or completely unemployable..... they are absolutely passionate about making a dependent brown underclass the majority population in America (as they are very close to achieving in California already).

Do you ever consider that maybe candidates will succeed or fail on their own? Not everyone can successfully ride to victory on Trump's coattails.

Trump is so good at calling people names. Such a fertile mind. I enjoy his name calling.

Once again, just like after the recent KY election, paid shills are paid to post paid shill posts heralding a 2 point victory by an incumbent Democrat governor in a state that has had only 3 GOP governors since the turn of the 20th century as some kind of defeat for Trump. This shill OP is especially farcical in how it strrrrrreeettccches to make some vaporous claim about Trump losing suburban support.

Are they fooling you? Eh, me either.

Oh, and as a matter of fact and not opinion, Democrats, not GOP, win the lowest two income hexiles resoundingly in nearly every election. Income correlates strongly with intelligence so...
