strawman. The people define the will of the people. The people soundly rejected trump.

Obviously. Just not as many. Which is why geography is irrelevant. Th e EC is affirmative action for unpopulated states. 1 vote in Wyoming carries 3 times the weight of 1 vote in California. That is a travesty in a free society.

The people of California don't speak for the people of small rural farm towns.

That's why our Founding Fathers created this process so that 3 major cities don't decide every election.

    Better luck next time :)

Strawman. I didn’t say they did.

geography is irrelevant. The people are what matters. Affirmative action is wrong at any level. 1 vote in Wyoming should not carry 3 times the weight of 1 vote in California.

You keep saying "straw man" when you're proven wrong LOL!

The WHOLE POINT of our voting system is so that every state has a say in the matter. We are nation made up of INDIVIDUAL states. Those states have just as much of a right of say than a few major cities. Other wise, we'd have the same party ruling for centuries.

Sorry that the American dream goes against your values...but you're free to leave!

No. I just point out when you guys make shut up and attribute it to me. I never made the argument California speaks for Wyoming.

And the system is now flawed, as I pointed out. Wyoming cotes are 3 times the weight of California.
im sorry you hate freedom and fairness so much. But your unamerican attitude isn’t a surprise. You are a trump supporter after all.

People live in the flyover States too and they also believe they are entitled to a voice when we choose a new President. The EC provides for that.

Your argument is that Hillary won the popularity contest (that isn't how you elect a President in the US- just FYI).

However, the majority of her main votes came from 3 major cities and that's in. In fact, she didn't even win 100 counties in the Entire United States.

The only one preaching un-American traits is yourself. We already have the American voting system in place that makes sure your precious 3 cities don't keep electing the same party century after century.

Do we need to break down Hillary's votes city by city? Our voting system is designed to protect the United States from people like you who only want one party ruling for years upon years.

Sorry Charlie! You lost! And you lost HUUUUGGGEEEE

No it doesn’t. The EC gives their vote 3 times the weight of larger states. Remove the EC and you get 1 voter 1 vote. Perfectly equal at that point.

I’m not making an argument. I’m correctly pointing out the American people soundly rejected trump in the election.

    Geography is Irrelevant.
Having a president serve in office against the will of the people is as unamerican as you can get.
Nobody disputes that trump won more wide open unpopulated empty space. I’m just pointing out actual Americans soundly rejected him. Both republican presidents in this century were affirmative action presidents elected against the will of the American people. That is unamerican.

No it isn't. What it does is tilt the election to the east and west coasts ignoring everything and everybody in between. But you know that.

The American people voted for Trump. There's only one way to elect a President.
What you are "claiming" is not the fact. Trump won the way anyone can (and will always) win.

Just because you got OWNED in the election- doesn't mean America is going to change our ways.

Funny- you mentioned me being "un-American" earlier- yet here you are claiming you want to completely change America... lol!

I'm still waiting. Still, he'll probably respond to this with something nonsensical not realizing that I was responding to someone on his ignore list.

    It's kinda funny, really.

it’s a mathematical fact that it is.

Proven false with........math. EC makes Wyoming votes 3 times the weight of ca votes. Removing EC makes all votes equal.

lol! No, removing the EC does not make all votes equal. That removes what the Founding Fathers (the people who put this country in place- the people you can't stand) wanted which was that ALL states in the Union have a say. Even the little states. That way, you don't get your wish of California cities electing every President.

Sorry pal, your un-American views will never change our nation!

Just not as many as for Clinton.
    Strawman
I wasn’t a candidate, nor did I vote for either Clinton or trump. So I was in no way owned in the election.

America is always changing, and should be. We used to own human beings as property. We used to not let women vote. We used to ban interracial marriages. All changed to make to make us more equal and provide more freedom. Removing the EC provides more freedom and makes things more equal. Every vote would count the same.

uh, of course it does. Every vote would count the same. Is it that you don’t know what equal means?

They also wanted only land owning white men to vote. They were wrong about that, and they are wrong about the EC.

Yea, you guys said the same thing about the 13th amendment. Interracial marriage bans, same sex marriage bans, and every other thing that we had to drag you kicking and screaming over.

He is your President- the only way one can be elected to that office.

Can you name us the last President that was elected without the Electoral College?

What is it with you and strawmen?

Can you show where I ever claimed one was?

maybe you’d like to address what I actually said now? Is trump a radical alt left extremist? Because he agrees with me.

You keep saying "strawmen" as if you know what it means.

So what is your point? That you should have voted for Trump because you care most about his words?

Clearly you voted for the loser and that did you absolutely no good.

You're claiming the American way to elect a president is with a popularity contest...which is NOT the American way (I know that's hard for you to understand).

The American way is to allow all of the states to elect a President. Maybe if you read your Queen's book you'll see that even SHE regrets all the campaigning she did in two states she was going to win anyway...

    LOL!
