Anybody besides being some kind of TV "star" would have gotten at least a year and a day -- plus a five-figure fine.

As California goes, so goes the whole country... right straight down to the bottom of the toilet.

Did Barack Obama get into the colleges he went to based on admission scores and/or transcripts.

Oh, speaking of transcripts, has anyone ever actually SEEN any of Obama's transcripts? If anyone has actually gotten a copy of his actual records, that person can be an instant millionaire -- because Obama's never seen fit to release them for public inspection (even though his admirers have always preached that he's some kind of 'genius')... and a LOT of people would love to get their hands on them....

rich people rarely do as much time as the working class

and I doubt it's prison, 14 days is usually jail, think has to be over a year to be prison

but since she did a deal, fine, but those that fought it should get much more time

It's hard to say who has made a greater overall success in life -- Trump or Obama.

Trump took $120 million his daddy gave him and increased it by a factor of over TWENTY-SIX times to amass the net worth he has now (according to Forbes). Trump does have a very high opinion of his own mentality, perhaps with justification regarding finance and speculation. More than anything else, Trump has the mentality of a high-stakes risk taker -- a gambler -- making a number of both bad and good decisions.

Obama grew up in fairly comfortable middle-class surroundings in Hawaii, and then applied for college aid (as a citizen of a foreign country). He eventually went on to make a career as a college teacher, and, with what turned out to be very successful political ambitions. Obama's admirers will tell you that he's extraordinarily smart, although very honestly, and in all fairness, I didn't see any of that while he was president. Obama has the mentality of a typical 'public-education-industry' bureaucrat, with neither spectacular successes or failures.

yeah, you believe that lie from Trump...

I would not be shocked if Trump had less than 120 million today - why is he scamming the American tax payer if he is so rich? why hide his tax returns?

also I think he inherited more then 120 million

"Trump lied to me about his wealth to get onto the Forbes 400. Here are the tapes."

You want to dispute Forbes...? Dispute what I say all day long if you like, but you need to be a lot better prepared if you are going to think that Forbes is incorrect....

Oh, wait... you might like Bloomberg's estimate better (?)....

BTW, Trump's economic policies have done little but ALIENATE me this year. His incessant bitching and grinding on savings account interest rates are costing me thousands of dollars, and, NO, I don't like it one damned bit....

I do not think Trump is as rich as he claims, you can believe him if you wish, lol

I would have to wonder why he is scamming the tax payers as President if he is as rich as he claims, like trying to get the g8 at his locations, charging the secret service rent to stay and protect him at his properties, even charging them to use his golf carts, ect....

It was a waste of money. They should have done a real punishment that would cost the taxpayer nothing--something like GPS monitored house arrest for a year. No leaving her property for anything but medical appointments or fire/earthquake/natural disaster, and require her to pay for the GPS monitoring ankle bracelet. In addition, she should be required to finance/star in a series of educational videos (with expert advice) on the college enrollment process.
