    Bush pursued two wars after the dotcom bust. He invaded Afghanistan to try and save ENRON'S 2 billion dollar debacle.. and expanded homeownership to minorities by allowing mortgages based on up to 80% of income.

    I still do to an extent, though I have been enlightened by a Kenyesian economist. I've recalibrated my thought that it's not so much the debt, but is it our GDP? And that has been steadily rising(unfortunately, so too has the debt.)

    If we have anyone to blame, it's this House for not legislating but 'investigating'. The exact opposite of the promises that were made to win the 2018 mid terms, as Republican minority leader McCarthy points out.

    Yeah, that can't be right. The PBO shows that it cost 13m Just for the 4 trips to Mar-a-Lego between Feb and March of 2017 alone

    Trump makes the call on how much to golf and where. There are great courses around Virginia that would have been FAR less expensive to travel to than his own courses. But then he wouldn't be able to charge the government for overnight expenses and equipment rental fees at his own club ... understand?

    And that doesn't include the costs to local law enforcement and businesses. When Trump flies into Mar a Lago, it shuts down the entire Lantana Airport for the duration of his stay AND local law enforcement has to spend millions in additional protective services.

    There are several very nice Military Golf Courses in Virginia, a quick helicopter ride from the White House, that would save tax-payers millions in travel fees as well.

    But again, Trump would lose out on the fees he can charge for using his own facilities. Trump is a Con Artist. He gives $1.2 million of his salary to the government - then charges 10 times that amount for use of his golf facilities. End of story.
