House Democrats have passed nearly 400 bills. Trump and Republicans are ignoring them.

https://www.vox.com/2019/11/29/20977735/how-many-bills-passed-house-democrats-trumpFor months, President Donald Trump has fired off tweet missives accusing House Democrats of “getting nothing done in Congress,” and being consumed with impeachment. ...as of November 15, the House has passed nearly 400 bills, not including resolutions. ...80 percent of those bill have hit a snag in the Senate, where Majority Leader Mitch McConnell is prioritizing confirming judges over passing bills.

Congress has passed just 70 bills into law this year. ...pales in comparison to recent past sessions of Congress, which typically see 300-500 bills passed in two years (and that is even a diminished number from the 700-800 bills passed in the 1970s and 1980s). Ten of those 70 bills this year have been renaming federal post offices or Veterans Affairs facilities.

...McConnell calls himself the “grim reaper” of Democratic legislation he derides as socialist, but many of the bills that never see the Senate floor are bipartisan issues, like a universal background check bill, net neutrality, and reauthorizing the Violence Against Women Act... raising the minimum wage to ensuring equal pay... expand health coverage and bring down prescription drug prices,” ...many of which are bipartisan.”

Trump is accusing Democrats of doing nothing as he refuses to work with them

With this information I wonder if many of our republican friends that keep saying house democrats are doing nothing will switch their ire to the actual culprits, senate republicans? Why have Republicans switched from doing their legislative duties and instead have focused on pushing through un- or under-qualified judges — stacking the courts across the country with partisan ideologues that they once protested so much.

Is this the new republican agenda, force their ideology on an unwilling nation?
We see it with gerrymandering, ignoring public referendums, trying to remove power from positions they are voted out of office and taking case after case of voter disenfranchisement to the SCOTUS.

Not all Republicans Moscow Mitch, Dirty Donald's errand boy, is the constipation preventing the normal flow of bills through the senate.

Mitch could be removed by a vote of the majority power.
Since they are not doing so they are complicit.

So because the Democrat House is not passing right wing bills (even though they had bipartisan support) they are the do nothing congress but the Senate Republicans who are refusing to even floor the bills for a vote are the noble ones?

    Yeh...
Most of the bills were passed with bipartisan support.

Do you believe the 70 bills that mainly dealt with renaming buildings were quality? But not prescription price reform bills?

For some reason Democrats do the unthinkable, and then have a hissy fit when the Republicans copy them.

Obama did not ignore hundreds of Republican bills because the only way Obama could ignore a bill is if it was passed first by the House and the Senate.

No one knows about this. All we ever hear about is impeachment from the House. No news whatsoever on any bills passed. Far as the average person knows, the Democratic house hasn't passed a single one.

Any legislation gets lost big time in the Democratic House's Trumpitis. That is all that is reported on. I suppose as long a impeachment is the number one topic which it has been ever since the Democrats won back the House. There will be no reports on legislation passed and the public will assume that impeachment is taking up 100% of the House's time and energy.

Catch 22 for the House Democrats. Keep impeachment to the fore, legislative achievements is totally lost. Forget impeachment and bring legislation to the fore, to the public's attention, impeachment is lost. The Democratic base won't let the latter happen even if it means portraying the Democratic controlled House as doing nothing legislatively.

The bolded is very much inaccurate because impeachment was not the number 1 issue focused on by the media or the Democrats until the announcement of formal impeachment inquiry back in September of this year. And even then, it was a slow burn to it's all encompassing fire.

Strawman refers to a logical fallacy where you are distorting the arguments being offered by the other side. You "built a strawman" rather than address their actual argument.

Here, you are suggesting that ~330 Bills passed and sitting ignored are like the 1 bill that sought to protect local jurisdictions who decide to permit illegal votes in their local elections.
