How many times have you served Mass at St. Peter's Basilica in the Vatican?

I was a Catholic and I read the Bible.

So is Schiff. Many watched Rep. Adam Schiff and his summary of the House Intelligence Committee's impeachment report. He was calm, professional, informative, and convincing. He was competent and skillful in his presentation.

    This is our President:

“I learn nothing from Adam Schiff, I think he’s a maniac. I think Adam Schiff is a deranged human being. I think he grew up with a complex for lots of reasons that are obvious. I think he’s a very sick man, and he lies.”

Trump's press secretary said "Chairman Schiff’s report reads like the ramblings of a basement blogger straining to prove something when there is evidence of nothing.”

Trump's fans love this in their President.

Here is a link to a site titled, "About Catholics."

    http://www.aboutcatholics.com/beliefs/do-catholics-read-the-bible/

It says that MANY Catholics do read the Bible...and that Catholics who attend Mass every day, hear the entire of the New Testament every three years during the Mass.

So I think the "Catholics do not read the Bible" is abject nonsense.

    I have debated bishops, William.

By the way, although I have not taken any vows for any orders...I was listed as an acolyte (one of the minor orders) serving the Cardinal Primate of England in the program for a High Mass back in the 1950's.

You are not even close to being as informed on Catholicism (or religion in general) as I.

Here is a bibliography of the books in my personal library that I use (and have used) during discussions on the Internet during the last two decades:

St. Joseph Edition of The New American Bible; Catholic book Publishing, NY; 1968 (Catholic)
The New American Bible; Thomas Nelson Inc, Nashville; 1971 (Catholic)
The Holy Bible King James Version; Thomas Nelson, Nashville: 1984 (Protestant)
The Holy Bible New International Version; Zondervan Bible Pub. Grand Rapids; 1978 (Non-demoninational)
The Scofield Reference Holy Bible (King James Version); Oxford Univ. Press; NY; 1909 (Protestant)
The Holy Scriptures Masoretic Text; Jewish Publ Society; Philadelphia: 1955 (Jewish)
The Holy Bible, St.Joseph Textbook Edition, Confraternity Version; Catholic book Publ: NY; 1963; (Catholic)
The Holy Bible Revised Berkeley Version; The Gideons Intrl; 1984; (Non-denominational Protestant)
The New American Catholic Edition of The Holy Bible; Benziger Bros, Boston; 1950 (Catholic)
The Old Testament; Guild Press NY; 1965 (Catholic)
The Living Bible; Holman Illustrated Edition: A.J. Holman Co; Philadelphia; 1973 (Protestant)
The Holy Bible; King James Version; The World Publ Co: Cleveland; (no date); (Protestant)
The Old Testament; Hebrew Publishing Co: NY; 1916 (English & Hebrew) (Jewish)

    **** Also I use

The Common Catechism of the Christian Faith: Seabury Press;NY 1975 (Protestant)
Catechism of the Catholic Church: Libreria Editrice Vaticana; Urbi et Orbi Comm; 1994 (Catholic)
The New St. Joseph Baltimore Catechism: Catholic Book Publish; NY; 1962 (Catholic)

*****Plus, I have (estimated) 40 - 50 other books dealing with the Bible, religion, and philosophy that I use when posting.

    Let's see your Bibliography.

I read Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. There's a lot of life lessons in there. I don't think any of the characters are real.

If you were right about what they believed as Catholics, then there would have been no debate. I'm not sure where you get the gumption to tell Catholics what Catholics believe, but they keep having this pesky habit of not agreeing with you. You better up your game.

Please provide proof that Pelosi defends MS-13.

Please provide proof that she's against property rights.

Or are you just repeating right wing hyperbole because you don't like her? I'm not a big fan of Pelosi, but I am a fan of facts.

Does it matter? Pelosi claims her devout Catholicism guides her behavior. I'm wondering what Catholics believe, not what the bible says. Seems to me that everyone from the pope down would disagree that Pelosi's claims to be raised Catholic actually guide her behavior. So how exactly did Pelosi's ravings about her Catholicism really nail anything at the town hall?
