    The substitute teacher who told 6 year old first graders that Santa is not real got fired.

    The kids were horrified & their parents are rightfully upset.

    The only good news about this sad story is that the clown got fired.

    It is only a matter of time before the left comes to his defense. They don’t even like to hear Merry Christmas.

    It’s strange what will and won’t get a teacher fired. Tell a kid there’s no Santa and out you go. Blast the president of the USA or molest a kid and you get to keep your job.

    Anyway, where I live this would never happen. We don’t have a Santa down here, we have a short squaty bald guy with a face tattoo who goes by the name of Sanchez Claus.

    Geeze in this neck of the woods a teacher got a student pregnant yet still works at said school . So yes , you are correct it is weird...

    When I was in first grade, I told my sister and her friends, who were in second grade, that there was no Santa Claus, thinking I was clueing them in. It made them cry. I got into a lot of trouble for that.

    interesting that the truth gets you fired. Granted a substitute has little or no recourse in the situation but I think a teacher would get scolded but not fired.

    teachers should not be telling kids mythical beings are real or fake... religion is something parents should teach their children

    personally, I think Christmas is a good experience for a child to learn to seek the truth on their own - without Santa, there would be no Christmas

    I'm surprised that there are six year olds who still believe in Santa in this day and age of the internet where even 6 years olds seem to know how to access it - perhaps 6 year olds are just playing a trick on parents in order to get presents
