To answer the topic, of course the media is biased against Trump, LW Harvard found as much and it's only gotten worse since.

    https://shorensteincenter.org/news-coverage-donald-trumps-first-100-days/

This has gone on since Nixon against GOP Presidents, while coverage of Democrats is generally a four or eight year blowjob. Now in the net age, as the gov-edu-union-contractor-grantee-trial lawyer-MSM Complex hegemony on the flow of information is in decline, it is easier for average people to see it, and rest assured it will affect voting patterns in a counterproductive way. The "choir" the biased media is preaching to was and is the same as it was in 2016, no new heads there to count. The backlash to media dishonesty and patent refusal to do its job in terms of negative results in the American Center for the LW-Complex going forward? Incalculable.

President Trump is actually getting less negative press than he deserves, which is sad really

if he wants less negative press, stop doing so many negative things

Yeah, it's the President's fault that it cost money to protect the President...

for the rich, that is because they are pouring money into the economy and keeping interest rates low

Trump gave the corps a mega tax cut, many stock buy backs as well, artificially keeping the stock prices higher and delaying the coming crash

all Trump is doing is making the bubble bigger, so when it pops it will be much worse - Trump is hoping he can delay it to just after the election, just like Bush was

Trump golfs at his own business and is profiting off his golf games - he should let the SS stay at his place at cost, he even rents golf carts to his ss

Trump slogan, "if you want to protect me, you have to pay me"

It's not blindness- it's denial. It's sacrifice of personal integrity for the purpose of political gamesmanship, personal bias and ratings. It say far less about Trump than it does about the character of the people in today's media.

For everyone. That is usually what it requires when the economy grows. People need to spend and businesses need to invest.

I don't see how repurchasing shares in equity delays any crash. I also don't see a problem with the idea of share repurchases. There are many legitimate reasons why a firm would want to repurchase shares.

There is no bubble. A bubble occurs when there is no rational correlation between asset prices and their long-term valuations, and a mania occurs.

Asset prices are "expensive (depending on the multiples)," but no where near prior bubble levels.

The MSM isn't going to know what to talk about when Trump leaves office.

According to people in this thread, everyone hates Trump. Yet, he should golf at places around people who hate him. These two points are obviously consistent.

It's also not up to the Secret Service where they go while on security detail because they must be around the President at all times.

The media seems biased against Trump because almost everything they report on is negative where he is concerned. This however is not selective reporting it is the inherent result when almost everything is negative. I have seen a few positive reports (economy mostly) but they are far outweighed by his own words and actions...often in the same day. Fox tries to show a positive spin but even they often have a difficult time doing so.

ok, so that is your excuse, Trump doesn't want to go out to see the people because he thinks the people hate him

yes, the Secret Service has no choice but to pay Trump to protect him... think that was my point - Trump does have a choice to profit off it though

Obama stepped out of the Oval Office worth about forty million dollars, bearing in mind that he became a millionaire during his first year as a U.S. Senator. Now what was that again about maximizing one's time in office to become much, MUCH wealthier?

It is one of those things that doesn't seem to be well understood. But when the economy is booming, growing at a fast pace, inflation tics up in order to absorb the new found wealth of the people. The Feds then raise the interest rates, which tends to slow the economy and bring down inflation rates. It is kind of hard to see, but the economy under Carter was a booming runaway economy with its soaring inflation rate and rising interest rates to bring it under control.

Obama is a once in a generation talent. He was the John Elway of politics. He was going to be well rewarded, regardless.

It's not an excuse, it's clearly the case because he chooses to golf where he golfs

Non-sequitur because it doesn't matter if he profits as long as he provides the services at market value. He is not allowed to receive favors

As I remember the economy was described as stagflation, high inflation stagnant growth.

Your third paragraph is the perfect example of a Trump supporter bias.

The President’s conduct is wrong, but.

The media or Liberals draw attention to the conduct not because it’s wrong but because they’re haters.

Worse, his supporters gaslight the country about the conduct pretending it didn’t occur but rather conduct by others that didn’t occur did.

it’s like dealing with unruly adolescents.

I am fine with your explanation, Trump golfs at his own place because he is thinks he is hated by the American people

That was good advice to Obama as well.

Thing is, I am old enough and been posting forever and believe me, the Media along with the Democrats hate any republican president. It comes with their turf.

For some odd reason, the boasting Obama got away with boasting but by golly Trump can't boast.

agree, I called Obama out when he did negative things too, like using the N-word, if Presidents want less negative press, do less negative things
