Your choice then. Being protective is all well and good, but semantics count for understanding your partner as an individual.
Tribbles are great for people on diets. They're like celery, by the time you've shaved and boned them you've consumed more calories than you'll get eating them.
My wife does as she pleases but listens carefully to what I say, as I do with her. When it comes to her safety and protection however, I can be VERY compelling in my position. When I said "forbid" that is what I meant and suggestions of sexist misogyny are rather offensive to me. Truthfully, I do not care regardless as her protection is what matters to me.
There are times my dear, when being forceful is required...protecting those you love would be amongst the most obvious. Would you be Okay allowing your love/child to do something dangerous or stupid, or would you try to prevent it?
Yep, I’d try to prevent it. If I forbade my contrary son to do something, sure as eggs, he’d do it. On the other hand, if I said to my daughter “ I was in labour with you for three days, please don’t do it” she’d comply. I’d say to my husband “ your mother would be very sad if she saw you doing that”.
I just finished rewatching that episode, its so light-hearted, so full of humor and still leaves us with a ecology lesson on the non-native species and exotic pets. Its very well written and well conceived ( pun intended)
Jeri Ryan put Obama in the white House. Yep, her ex husband jack ran against him for Senate on the family and morality platform. On inspection of the divorce papers it turns out jack wasn't satisfied with their sex lives and liked to go to sex clubs and try to get her to have sex with other men, plural, while he watched. She didn't like the idea and left him. He lost the "moral" right vote. More than that men in general were offended that he thought sex with Jeri dissatisfying. Here's a woman whose poster was on every teenage male in America's wall and he wasn't happy? Greedy bastard. Biggest landslide for senator in Illinois history.
