FREE college, college for EVERYONE!!!

Control of what? The colleges are already under government control. All the proposals have to do with public colleges already. Again, I can only speak for Mass schools, but the state already pays about 30% of the true cost through taxpayers subsidies.

 

Control of what people learn... we have seen since Vietnam that those who control the information control the people and since that time the people who control the information have used that against the American people.
Yes I'm talking about the liberals who have a death grip on the media, the government Hollywood and public education..
Anything that gives more power to any of those entities is bad, getting rid of private colleges would certainly do that.

 

I don't get why so many think colleges brainwash kids forever. I see kids for two or three years mimicking educators and influencers but after that life teaches them how things truly stand. By nature the young are more liberal and the old more conservatives both in politics and in life choices. And the only people Hollywood influences are the ignorant who are just as easily influenced by causes both left and right.

 

Another way to say that, the young are more Wrong and the old are more right..

 

I don't think it is a question of right or wrong. Old people sometimes are just to hesitant to take risks. I noticed that quite a bit in business. What I called the "older" management always seemed to be more content with old tech and the old ways of doing things. If different teams were not brought in, those businesses would have failed IMO. some people value progress more than others and are willing to take more risks than others to get there. I don't think either the left or the right are any more correct than the other, just a different path.

 

The difference between liberalism and conservatism. Isca clear choice between right and wrong.
