CBC Cuts Donald Trump's 'Home Alone 2' Cameo Out of Broadcast

    From the land of fining and possibly jailing people for using the wrong pronouns to fining and possibly jailing comedians for telling the wrong joke the liberal fascism of Canada has a new target. Removing Trump from movies. Is this the new face of Canada? A government removing people they don't like politically from movies? Will regular Canadians actually stand up to this latest form of China-like censorship?


    Home Alone 2: Lost in New York is full of violence that, in my opinion, exceeds the physical comedy of the original film and is borderline barbarism. The main antagonists were subjected to bricks thrown at them from atop a building, being shot with a staple gun, having their heads lit afire, and being electrocuted. It is actually hard to watch.

    But, for CBC TV in Canada, the following scene was too much, and had to be removed from their broadcast of the film. That's right, ComicBook.com reports that CBC edited out Donald Trump's cameo from the 1992 movie.

    I was referring to censorship, which I believe to be the core of this thread. Just checking to see if the OP cares about all censorship or just the bits he doesn’t like.

    LOL... My guess it's because he gets residuals for that appearance and it might violate the Emoluments clause to pay him while in office.

    If the movie had Trump being shot with a staple gun, having his head lit afire, or being electrocuted, his scene might have stayed..

    Nobody wants to have their holidays ruined with his ugly mug in their holiday viewing favorites..

    Merry Impeachmas to us all..

    P.S. PLEASE PLEASE sweet baby Jesus - tell us Trudeau had a hand in this...

    Hell it is censorship even as petty as it is.

    It is also anti liberalism.

    Indicative of the post modern, modern leftism. NK and China would understand it. Extremism is good.

    I would not doubt it as Trudeau and Macron have been playing Trump. I'm sure news of this, even if it were not true, would play with Trump's big beautiful brain.

    Honestly, I'm not sure which is worse here... That somebody would go to the effort to cut Trump out of the movie, or that anybody would be a big enough fan of "Home Alone 2" to notice....

    I just now learned that Trump had a cameo in the movie.
