The U.S.population has increased at the lowest rate since 1917-18 increasing only half of 1% during 2019 to a total of 328 million.Four states West Virginia,Maine,New Hampshire and Vermont all saw deaths exceeding births in their states, this trend is expected to only increase to more states as our birth rate declines and the aged population dies off.Our total number of immigrants during 2019 declined to less than 600,000 as the administration tightened requirements and the availability of good jobs declined. The number of those seeking U.S.immigration has dropped off.

30,000 gun deaths a year and 2 million people in prison who can't breed don't help, plus your home-grown opioid crisis.

The white birth rate of European heritage regardless of where in the world they live is declining.

Not only S.Korea and Japan have the same problems. Even some countries such as the Qatar or the United Emirates.
We have extremly populated areas + people which works a lot + have a lot of new technologies + extremly high divorce rate, why would people bother anymore with relationships and children ?

Is it a problem? Half of the world is overpopulated and facing starvation, poverty, and genocide. Why follow suit?

Declining population is a very bad sign for the U.S. and world economy.Japan today has critical labor shortages with their very low birth rate.Even China is now showing declining birth rates,India is projected to soon surpass them as the worlds most populous country with China number two and Nigeria replacing USA as number three.

Of course China has a declining population. They had a mandatory "one child" policy for decades. On top of that, many Chinese were killing their daughters so they could have sons. How do you maintain a population with those policies?

Look at the conditions people are enduring in India. They have mass poverty and open sewage in the streets. I would say women are treated like cattle, but cattle are worshiped over there.

Increasing our population to unsustainable levels in the name of growing our economy is stupid. If our people cannot support themselves, they don't need to reproduce. A healthy and productive 200M is much more preferable to a poor government dependant 400M.

If our population shrinks to 200 million the majority of U.S companies will have gone out of business.

Baby boomers are starting to get on Social Security in exploding numbers. Question - who will pay the bills? There is one good thing about illegal aliens - they kick in to Social Security but don't collect. Why we don't increasingly raise the retirement age is a social dilemma. People 55 and older get kicked off jobs for cheaper young people and have nowhere to go except down, down, down.

Shrinking populations are going to become a major problem in many of the worlds present economic leaders.

Glad to hear you don't buy into climate change alarmism at least.

I'm still seeking a woman to bear me children... unfortunately I can't do anything about this problem by myself.

If you don't believe in climate change I suggest you 6ake a trip to our largest state Alaska.Which is shrinking as the once solid permafrost melts causing roads and bridges to capsize. The Inuit are having to relocate further inland as their homeland shrinks.

Ponzi schemes require sketchier and sketchier behavior to self perpetuate the longer they are in operation. Oh well.

Throw in a few other things-
levels in the US male have been dropping about 1% per year since 1980. And while the baby boomer aging is a factor- there are other signs of importance.

I wonder how much this has to do with the frustrations in today's society, and the hostility it breeds.
I suspect- more than a little.....

Anyone who is bemoaning lower human reproduction rates, one of the primary factors in carbon footprint, cannot be a climate alarmist. The two positions are mutually exclusive.
