Hmmmm the left and the Dems have demand Trump release any women with whom he had such agreements will they demand Bloomberg? Will we hear them saying "what does he have to hide release them". And these are actually allegations of creating a hostile workplace and environment, that's sexual harassment stuff.

Bloomberg won’t release women who sued him from secrecy agreements
Bloomberg was sued several times over the years. Three cases remain open.

Democratic presidential candidate Mike Bloomberg told ABC News this week he will not take any steps to release women who have signed confidentiality agreements with his company to speak publicly about past allegations that the former
New York City mayor fostered a hostile work environment for some female employees.

“You can't just walk away from it,” Bloomberg said. “They're legal agreements, and for all I know the other side wouldn't want to get out of it.”

Last month, ABC News reported on several lawsuits in which Bloomberg was accused of making crude remarks in the 1990s and of allegedly fostering an uncomfortable environment for women to work -- allegations Bloomberg has denied. Three cases against the company remain active.

ABC News has spoken with several women who expressed interest in telling their stories who were subject to confidentiality agreements, but said they feared the prospect of facing retribution from the company for speaking out....."

I sense deep irony in the GOP trying to make hay with this.

Actually if you took the money and agreed to keep your mouth shut. you should keep your mouth the hell shut -- unless your benefactor agrees legally to take the money back and release you from your obligation.

Says the supporter of a president for whom 17 women have come forward claiming sexual harassment. It sucks that Bloomberg may have made crude remarks 20 years ago, but innocent until proven guilty right?

I have said repeatedly shame on him and he gets no respect from me for his past behavior and because I can't stand him personally did not vote him. And that women who are making such allegations should do so formally. And we don't know what the complaints against Bloomberg entailed but I know the Democrats and the left and the MSM were demanding Trump release any women from such agreements. Does Bloomberg get a bye?

iirc she ended up having to pay much more than the original amount she received because her defamation suit against Trump was dismissed with stipulation that she had to pay all of Trump's legal fees.

She would have been smart to stay away from Avenutter, and protect her money.

And in the meantime the Democrats were crying about the NDA and how women shouldn't be held to them and if Trump didn't have anything to hide he should release them.

No, that's not how it works. If you are the contract holder the contract already has the rules in it and you deal the cards. :)

Of course if enough monetary consideration is offered to the contract holder they might give up their rights.:)

But you can't get something for nothing.

As another poster said, if you settled for some cash keep your damn mouth shut, or you should have to pay back every cent plus interest. But I must say that this is a complete and shocking surprise that someone who now calls himself a democrat could ever be accused of any inappropriate behavior, I mean democrats are way above that right?

I didn't hear the Dems or the Left saying that about Trump, they demanded we know and railed AGAINST Nondisclosure Agreements.

    What do they say now?

The idea that somebody should get out of a contract is as bad as the looneys who don't believe in rule of law.

Afaik Bloomberg ain't having it, at least not when he's the one holding the contract. I don't know what his position is when other people are holding the contracts.

Contracts are "gotten out if" daily. It's only an agreement between the two parties as long as both agree to leave it force. The ball is in Bloombergs court will the Dems/Left/MSM demand he release the women from them?

I don't know, but I would tell them to go straight to Hell if they didn't start paying through the nose to fund my campaign.

Don't know if he did I know Trump didn't but that is not the Isis here. Will the Democrats demand he release the women, demand transparency? The Dems/left here are pulling the "if he has nothing to hide......" on Trump, what about Bloomberg?
