It is the modern role pushed by feminist movements and if it works for you that's great. Family units were stronger under the older model. You're stating that your views are facts as if they are the only set of facts applicable here, they are not. You remain unconvinced but I have given an alternative measure of lifestyle success.

so lets raise the min wage so people can survive on one bread earner, the min wage has not kept up, the problem is most people can no longer live with just one income

Our people now has more money then they did.

Or just stop immigration and work visas, and the labor market will tighten and wages will go up. That's one of the reasons we have low wages now, a multi decade effort to bloat the labor market.
