Trump is both a pathological and nonpathological liar. Pompeo and Pence, and Barr, are nothing but corrupt politicians who would sell their mothers for their own personal gains. This means that everything uttered by this group will be a direct lie or exaggeration. This means this administration can never be trusted to make critical decisions for the US. Yet here they are driving the US into the abyss while more than half of Americans could care less.

How do you know the way in which Pompeo was using the term, "imminent?"

Pompeo says in the video he does not know precisely when or where the attack would occur, so how can it be imminent? Wouldn't this mean that Pompeo is using a different definition of imminent?

He could've chosen his words more carefully, but really the word "imminent" is pretty damn vague. One definition is "coming or likely to happen very soon." Well the word "soon" has no precise definition! If you knew that something was going to happen sometime within 24 hours, would you say that it was imminent?'

What does this have to do with Trump saying that Soleimani was "responsible for the deaths of hundreds, if not thousands, of Americans?"

So is the claim by Pence that Soleimani assisted in the clandestine travel to Afghanistan 10 of the 12 terrorists AFTER the 9/11 attacks?

No it's not a lie, he didn't say Soleimani was directly involved in 9/11, he helped the terrorists travel to Afghanistan. For what purpose we don't know yet. Yeah, yeah, and Bin Laden helped against the Russians in Afghanistan and Stalin helped against Germany. Many countries get in bed with bad guys to fight a common enemy. Soleimani attacked rival terrorist groups, it sure wasn't due to making the world safer.

Soleimani certainly was making the world safer for the Syrian people, especially the Christians and Alawites who were under the protection of Assad - while we in turn, supported and were arming Al Nusra to get rid of the democratically elected President Assad, even as Al Nusra were beheading Christians, Alawites and other minorities who wouldn't accept sharia law.

To understand the offense to the Iranian people, Soleimani's prestige in Iran could only be compared to someone of Eisenhower's military stature in the US, and DeGaul in France. Imagine what would happen if they were assassinated by a foreign government?

But you're not God, or at least not to others you aren't, so how can you decide when or where the threat might occur unless you have some definite proof? Paranoia and projection does exist you know.

Also what is the threat, that Iran might hinder the US from stealing Iraq's and Syria's oil, or that a peace deal between Iran and Saudi Arabia might stop the war and killings in Yemen - something we wouldn't like of course. Nothing like having the 'untermenschens' killing one another off.

Kind of makes one wonder why we even fought in WWII.
