It appears that he told his story fairly correctly. You might note that he couldn't prove that Yovanovitch badmouthed the administration. But Rachel Maddow or the rest of the MSM will never ask Yovanovitch about her list of untouchables. "Rather, it would appear that it was Yovanovitch’s decision to criticize then-Ukraine prosecutor general Yuriy Lutsenko that eventually led to her departure. In a March 5 speech, Yovanovitch hit out at Lutsenko’s tenure and demanded the resignation of another prosecutor over failed efforts at tackling corruption. But within weeks, Lutsenko hit back at Yovanovitch with an accusation of his own that she had previously provided Ukrainian prosecutors with a list of officials not to be prosecuted." ( TPM ) I certainly hope that the Senate will ask her to be crystal clear about her conduct. Did she trash Lutsenko and did she verbalize the list?
Actually, this helps Trump because Yovanovitch was acting as a firewall to keep the Ukrainian prosecutors at bay. The Dems are taking a huge risk with this because the Burisma money trail also leads to Obama. Hunter Biden was sitting on top of an iceberg of corruption.
During her testimony she skirted the issue by saying she didn't provide a written list. She was careful except for the part about the State Department prepping her on Burisma for her confirmation hearing. She was caught red handed by Stefanik. That is why I just repeated that the Senate has to ask her a direct question about the fact that she verbalized who should not be prosecuted. I get the feeling that Maddow is in the dark about how bad this is. And especially if the Dems get exposed regarding the Koch-Glitsch connection.
"red handed"? I don't think you know what that means. Latsenko wrote the list. The ambassador got up and walked out of the room. What else would you like to add (fabricate)?
Yovanovitch was caught red handed by Stefanik regarding the State Department prep work specifically aimed at deflecting questions about Burisma. I take it that you don't know what the Dems are trying to hide? It was way more than a Hunter Biden conflict of interest. Burisma was the conduit whereby all of the money that flowed through Latvia ended up in Burisma's Cyrus banking accounts. But much of it didn't originate in the Ukraine. "Yovanovitch’s admission that Shokin was looking for a “hook” with which to prosecute Burisma and Zlocvesky undermines a central argument Joe Biden has made to defend his conduct. Since the story became central to the impeachment inquiry, the former vice president and his allies have tried to argue that Shokin’s investigation into Burisma was dormant at the time of his firing and therefore his ouster actually improved the chances that the company would face stricter scrutiny" https://www.breitbart.com/2020-elec...n-biden-pressured-ukraine-to-fire-prosecutor/ The firewall was also covering up Obama's hand in the Koch-Glitsch transfer.
Looks like the train is jumping the track again. Parnas, in rare interview, undermines Dems' claims that Trump team surveilled Ukraine ambassador "Lev Parnas, the indicted associate of President Trump's personal lawyer Rudy Giuliani, on Wednesday night undercut House Democrats' explosive new suggestion that the Trump team had former U.S. ambassador to Ukraine Marie Yovanovitch under surveillance -- saying in a televised interview that text messages that seemingly suggested Yovanovitch was being secretly monitored were in reality just the ramblings of a "drunk." Speaking to MSNBC's "The Rachel Maddow Show," Parnas repeatedly said prominent Trump donor Robert F. Hyde wasn't being serious when he claimed to know Yovanovitch's whereabouts." https://www.foxnews.com/politics/lev-parnas-rachel-maddow-trump-yovanovitch-ukraine-house-democrats
It would seem from this interview that TrumpCo. was acting as mafiosa with U.S government in place of guns and horse heads. Everyone from Barr and Rudy to Trump and Pence were active players in all of this BS in Ukraine. It is all but guaranteed now that the senate trial will not be covered by the news and witnesses are off the table....unless some Republicans miraculously decide their Oath of office and the Constitution are more important than Donald Trump.
She also has no credibility after saying she never heard of the infamous Biden tape where he bragged of getting the prosecutor fired. That makes her either a liar or stupid.
They have every right to investigate corruption before giving a nation US aid. The Constitution doesn't say anything about TDS.
Dude...that crap does not work anymore, you folks need to figure out some other way to shine daddys boots. And even the TDS is stale and useless.
The denials, diversions, distractions, and desperation of the FOX "news" team have become borderline crazy. They attack everyone that thinks that the testimonies of witnesses are valid, that Trump is culpable, or even those that simply want to look at all the facts. Identification of the supposed whistleblower has only served to provide that person with a 24 hour armed guard. The public gets a little upset with things like that. Pelosi delayed the handoff to the Senate to let the facts percolate in public and have the inevitable bad guys surface. The public has turned against the Senate and the corruption has reached a new low. It was a masterstroke. Now let's go to trial.
….Yeah, that one sucks as well. You are not Rubber and I'm not glue. Now is where you call me a Ninny Head.
yes, Obama was wrong about that, and later came to realize it republican back then were right about documents having to be handed over then and wrong now, defending Trump on this is supporting corruption
