Iranian Ayatollah Ahmad Alamolhoda, said in a January 14, 2020 memorial ceremony for the victims of the Ukrainian airliner, which aired on Khorasan Razavi TV (Iran) that Islam is about to take over the world and "cast a shadow over Planet Earth in its entirety." He claimed that hundreds of thousands of American soldiers were "turned to dust and ashes" by the missiles that Iran launched at the Americans' Ayn Al-Asad base in Iraq in retaliation for the killing of Qasem Soleimani. In addition, he said that Iranians who collaborate with the U.S. are a fifth column who should be court-martialed and executed and that the Iranian protesters who refused to walk on the flags of the U.S. and Israel are actually Americans and Israelis. Furthermore, Ayatollah Alamolhoda said that England's ambassador to Iran, who he said leads English and American spies, should be "chopped into pieces."

Other that it's completely unhinged and devoid of reality on the ground, it also shows why Iran cannot under any circumstances acquire a nuclear weapon. Although it's simply easier to outright remove the Ayatollah and his men from power, though I imagine it will enable 'INTL outcry' despite the bastardization that these people are in government.

Sounds like a darling of the left.

If we touch him they will jump on his side.

Perhaps if the democrats hacked and whacked just once then we on the right wouldn't always have to fix their problems.

Can we just use the same excuse the orange fans use every time he made an obscene comment?
“He was just trying to trigger the media and the conservative snowflakes”
    “He was just joking!!!”

Actually not much different than the leaders you had in the 30's of the last century.
I see you have trouble understanding the difference required in behavior and thinking expected from leaders now a days.

    No, a simple illustration.
I don’t have “a guy” but I understand the need to paint anyone showing the absurdity that trump is allowed to get away with as a sympathizer (I don’t know enough about the man that was executed to make a judgement one way or another)

We see trump as unhinged and crazy and obviously far from any required thinking and bejavior expected in modern world.

Par for the course for The Religion of Obediance (the literal meaning of the 'peace' of Salaam/Islam).

Their rhetoric is not a reason to worry, so long as it stays in their sandbox (and they dont get nukes).

The only way it will ever change is reformation of Orthodox Islam and/or the secularization of ME governments. We've already proven this cannot be enforced militarily. Any support of regime change needs to focus on the 'heretics' of Orthodox Islam- those Muslims that reject theocratic authoritarianism and embrace the western concept of peace as a lack of violence. We cannot support them with violent offensives against their societies that only bolster support for the violent rhetoric of their oppressors.

    I call bs.

Just doing a cursory look further than the OP, I find Alamolhoda's remark about the UK ambassador to be twisted.

US News, the New York Times, the Jerusalem Post and Reuters all reported on his comment and all say the same thing:

In remarks carried by Eslahat news website, prominent hardline Iranian cleric Ayatollah Ahmad Alamolhoda also said expelling the ambassador would be "the best thing that can happen to him" as otherwise loyal supporters of a general killed in a U.S. drone strike would "chop him to small pieces".

Not quite the same, is it?

So what is this MEMRI.org? Why, It's a "non-profit, non-partisan" group based in Washington D.C.

exactly the same thing... he knows that his peeps follow his lead, ergo he knows they'll chop the ambassador to pieces... merely stating that it'd be best to expell the ambassador is a 'save face' moment that the left will cling to & praise him for it...

No, it's not the same thing. It's twisting someone's words. It's obvious propaganda.

When I first read the OP and "He claimed that hundreds of thousands of American soldiers were "turned to dust and ashes" by the missiles that Iran launched at the Americans' Ayn Al-Asad base in Iraq in retaliation for the killing of Qasem Soleimani", I was suspicious about the source. Come on, no one, not even in Iran, believes that there were hundreds of thousands of soldiers at that base. I looked into the claim about the ambassador as I was familiar with that story. After seeing what MEMRI did with that, I didn't look any further.

There's plenty to be said about Iran without resorting to bullshit. Hey, the Jerusalem Post managed it. Why can't this group?

Does the UK ambassador end up in little pieces in both scenarios at the hands of the Iranian leaders allies?

Yes the translation of "Death to America" chanted by the Iranian government was also propaganda.
