Maddow didn't bother to ask why Parnas was so interested in getting rid of Yovanovitch well before Rudy came along. She didn't ask him why he made false claims about some Nunes "secret" trip to Vienna (which Nunes is suing CNN over for false reporting). She didn't ask Parnas about why he's made so many false claims in the past. So a relevant question would have been "Why should we believe you now?" She didn't ask.

Shotkin was not investigating Burisma at that point. The investigation into Burisma (which was dormant for a year at the time of Shotkin's firing) was for conduct that took place before Hunter Biden joined. Lutsenko (the new prosecutor) announced nearly 15 months after Biden's video that he found zero evidence of wrongdoing by either of the Bidens.

Those are all facts which have been explained to you multiple times. And there will be no investigation of the Bidens at the Senate Trial - just a feverish pitch by the Trump defense team to try and shift the focus.

But if you can convince a single domestic investigative agency to launch an investigation, you should go for it. Trump and Giuliani were unsuccessful which is why they had to go to a foreign government and pressure them by threatening to withhold hundreds of millions in military aid unless they at least announced an investigation.

If that's true, why hasn't Hunter Biden been investigated via normal, existing protocols that our FBI follows when foreign nations are involved?

 

Republicans need to call Parnas to the Senate trial and challenge him. Why do I think this is unlikely.
