His talk of just over 1 degrees is the lowest possible estimate. I don't mind if you want to die and have no children or grandchildren to care about but we are in this together and so if some countries do not work we have all had it.
His view that we will reach 3degrees rise in temperatures is interesting. I assume he is meaning if we do get our act together. 3 degrees change in temperature would put us in a situation where we have societal collapse and it likely would come before 2050. You have about one minute to get educated on it or you lose you chance. I am for very strong sanction on countries which are still adding to their CO2. The US is one of the worst culprits and one of her most damaging inputs come from her never ending wars.

However one thing is known. The longer this is left the more expensive it is going to be to put right.
