Trump Announces U.S. Will Join ‘One Trillion Trees’ Initiative

My commentary: This is a good initiative. It’s good to be pro clean air and pro clean water. It’s clear that regardless what one thinks of global warming and climate change that trees do absorb co2 emissions in the air.

 

At least this passive plan has a known real environmental impact as opposed to prior plans requiring government to have control over business and individual economic choices and behaviors

 

Definitely a good common sense thing.

I like trees.

 

Me too. I live in a city with lots of them within the city limits. Lots of parks and green zones and neighborhoods where substantial numbers of oak and evergreen trees were spared in the building of the homes. And national forests to the west, north, and east of us. The Carr fire did a lot of damage to the west and northwest and inside the city limits. I can’t wait to see all those 250,000 acres of trees grow back.
