At Davos Trump committed the USA to join the Trillion Tree Movement. Finally, something sensible comes out of forty years of hoopla and bs.

Post the link to back up your assertion.

Stop the deforestation and stop climate change.

California is becoming even more of a desert than it was in 1800, so planting trees will be problematic there, but make up for it where there is green already.

I don't imagine that the executives who make billions in economic decisions based on data from NOAA and NASA would prefer to use a website that was last updated in 2012.

Take it up with NASA and NOAA.

    Yes we can.
We can combat the problem at source by sending contraceptives to poor countries.
Fewer people, less pollution, less drain on resources.

More contraceptives in the United States would have a greater impact given that each American is going to produce more CO2 on a per capita basis.

Access to contraceptives also cuts down on abortions and STIs, so it's sort of the right thing to do anyways.

BTW, localized CO2 emissions do not translate into localized atmospheric temperature effects. Where did you get the idea that they did ??

Requiring good data to base policy decisions on is somehow impossible ?? That's ridiculous.

The American public doesn't care about AGW alarmism. Candidates are not elected because they are champions of green energy.

That's absurd. Low income countries do not emit significant CO2 emissions.

Or we could employ the Chinese method and make it illegal for a family to have more than one child. Progressives want a government controlled and planned economy - this is one step in that direction.

I'm all for that. But you're the first person on the planet to ever mention that in connection with global warming.

It does. We have survived many climate hoax predictions thus far. Why is this new one special?

What bit of idiocy are you listening to that lead you to believe AGW predicted the extinction of humanity by this point?

I’m assuming satire but alarmists make the point that reducing the number people on the earth would solve the problem.

No, it was a joke. But also shows a lack of sense of humor demonstrated by alarmists.

Those are not low income countries. And what you are showing is air pollution. In South Africa you show water vapor coming out of a cooling tower and in Brazil you show a fire ????

What evidence do you have the NASA and NOAA is lying to you? I think the CEOs who make billions of dollars in economic decisions based on their information would like to know.

Can you show any evidence that the surface station problems have been rectified?

You were given evidence of such in post 947.

Your source is nearly 8 years old. The improvements in that source were made 7 years ago.

Hardly, look at the margin of error................

64.4% of the surface stations in the United States have an error rate of >2C, 21.5% have a error rate of >1C and 6.2% have an error rate of >5C. That leaves 7.9% with an error rate of <1C.

Closing 600 out of 9000 is some fix, especially since we don't know which ones they actually closed. BTW your proof is from 2013 and updated in 2015.
