https://nationalpost.com/opinion/munk-debates-david-frum-trump-committed-a-crime-and-it-wasnt-victimless Man, if you've lost David Frum, that can't be a good sign for Conservatives. I think the issue here is that the Republican Party has moved away from 'Conservative Ideology' and have created their 'Republican Ideology' (and yes, the Dems have done this too. Focus) that is less about pushing the Conservative Ideals, but simply gaining and keeping power for the Party without regard to principles or anything of the like. Debt and Deficit are the perfect examples. When the Dems are in power, then these two things become highly important and must be talked about, and protested, and the Tea Party gets in it and etc..etc..etc.. Once they gain power though, suddenly the Deficit starts to rise again (even in the 2 years that Trump had the POTUS and the Reps had the Senate and the House), Debt keeps going up, and spending only increases. I don't know where the Reps or the Dems will go after all this, but I don't think it's going to get better without a serious overhaul of the whole system. And good luck with that happening anytime soon.
Sorry David Frum is a long time never Trumper, if he's the guy I'm thinking about he used to work for some Clinton outfit back before Clinton became president.
Do you mean David Frum, the well known Bush lackey and vocal rabid anti Trumper whom has made no bones that he voted for Hillary?.....Yeah....what a shocking loss........back in 2015.
Frum's arguments are spot on and devastating to Trump. But the best we can expect from the right is to attack whether or not he likes Trump. Because they have no arguments to rebut what he says. Pathetic!
Yeah, it's almost like he has an actual set of principles based in Conservatism that gives him the freedom to call out fake Cons who are only in it for personal enrichment. At least with Hillary, you'd have someone who understands the systems of governance and wouldn't kneecap the US and it's international standing for the long term. Most of this stuff is just theatre, but the actual damage he has done to the State Dept (with something like 60-80% of long time diplomats and ambassadors quitting), and other various Depts that are completely understaffed, or positions that have never been filled in almost 4 years. Trump is setting the system up for a collapse, and if it does, it's gonna be messy.
Your irrelevant diatribe aside, it is disingenuous to PRETEND like "losing" Frum is a new revelation that indicates anything other than his well documented past hatred for Trump.
