Kudos for this guy for calling out the obvious. He did the right thing, planned ahead, sacrificed and did what he had to do to save for his kid's education and then asks Warren to essentially forgive what he paid by giving him his money back. Unfortunately for Warren, she's a good liar, but not good enough, and now the video, which can be seen at the link below, can be seen by all.

Speaking of being reimbursed, my tax money went to people for food, can I get my money back for buying my own food? How about my cell phone? My healthcare?

Come on libs, should the people who already paid for what they got be reimbursed for things other people Warren wants to give for free? The guy in this story paid once for his kid's education, why should he be forced to pay twice?

There's a video of the exchange at the link for the people who like to criticize the source.

You gotta break some eggs to make an omelette. Not everyone will benefit from student loan forgiveness. Mainly those that didn't take out loans in the first place.

I bought a $300,000 house right before the crash and the market still hasn't recovered enough around me to make a profit selling it. I am still underwater to the tune of 50k, while all around me people were snatching up foreclosures for pennies on the dollar. Should I ask the seller I bought it from for a refund because other buyers got a better deal?

TL;DR Student loan forgiveness is for students who took out student loans.

How would those who didn't take out a loan benefit from loan forgiveness?

How about a hiatus on the loan? Like you don’t have to pay it back until you’re 30? Hahahahahah

I was paying my loans off until my late 20s. It’s called sacrifice you little millennial and Gen Lost snowflakes. Suck it up buttercups. You can’t find a decent paying job after college it means YOU ducked up. Pay the piper little Bitches:).

They wouldn't. Just like someone who graduated (and paid for college), before June 22,1944 couldn't benefit from the GI Bill, even if they had served.

Sometimes you're just in the wrong place at the wrong time.

I don't think the guy really wanted his money back. I think he was just making a good point.

Like the guy who asked Bill Clinton "Can you name a country that has taxed itself into prosperity?"

The guy worked double shifts to pay for his daughters education and Warren now wants him to pick up the tab for drop outs and illegals.

She also wants him to pay reparations to blacks, LGBTQ & Illegals.

What are the odds of him voting for Warren ?

A better option would be to make it illegal to take out a student loan until you are at least 30. That way you have some life experience under your belt and, hopefully, see through the student loan scam that is perpetuated by our own government.

And, if you paid off your loans in your 20's, something tells me you weren't saddled with 100k in loans coming out of grad school at 24.

Your response surprises me since you’re from the party who sympathizes with victims everywhere and when none can be found you create them. Why didn’t you sympathize with this man’s struggle, is it because he’s white?

Anyway, I’m going to save your response for the next time the left mentions the struggles of blacks, illegals, etc.

    A January 12TH Event?

    Today is Jan. 23rd.

If this BREAKING (Urgent) NEWS (that affects the entire future of Western Civilization) was so "Important", then why did the Breitbart House Machine wait so long (10 Days) to have a fit about it?:bored:

    My Advice:

If the RW is going to PLANT these "Paid Agitators" and then have someone record their "antics" to make a "Viral Vid", the next time DON'T Wait 10 DAYS...:bored:

Who is the "victim" here? Certainly not the guy who put his kid through college considering that it's literally just a proposal by a presidential candidate at this point.

    Talk about snowflake mentality....

He sounds like a whiny biatch.

Save it. I don’t do identity politics. Funny since my voter record is clearly No Party affiliation. I don’t do cults

So now we can't question the proposals of political candidates until after they're elected? You might want to email CNN and all future debate moderators with that suggestion and see where that gets ya.

The victim is anyone who saved and paid for an education and then has to pay for someone else who doesn't have to pay. Surely your CNN style fact blocking glasses didn't obscure that, did it?

You don't sign your name at the bottom of a contract if you don't intend to honor it. If you do, you're a scumbag.

I worked my ass off through college while friends took loans and partied, traveled, etc. Those people, from my Generation paid them back and learned a lesson. This generation wants the free ride? WTF?

Gen X got no breaks, but the Millennials along with the Boomer have no issue ****ing the rest of us over.

Because of your obsession with dates, you need to get a side job as a professional human calendar. But should you chose to do so, your record of prior predictions of events would lead me to believe most of your dates would be wrong, maybe even the months, too.

False analogy & logical fallacy comparing buying a house to taking out a student loan unless you are proposing the government pay off people's home loans.

And I guess you think the taxpayers should just bend over and take it for the team. People are tired of paying for deadbeats. If someone got a degree in gender studies or advanced basket weaving and can't get a job too [deleted] bad.

By interfering with the market (supply and demand) the easy availability of student loans likely causes tuition costs to soar.

This is the underlying premise of socialists generally. Redistribute from those who work hard and give to those who did not. Illegals too.

I haven't watched CNN in more than two decades.

And here's an idea: Don't like what a candidate is proposing? Then DON'T VOTE FOR THEM.

Those "victims" you are so concerned about will only be in the first wave after student loan debt forgiveness and tuition free college becomes the norm.

It sucks for those caught in the front row. I get it. I got roughly 60% of my college tuition paid for by the GI Bill. Now, with the post-911 GI Bill, one can nearly obtain a PhD on Uncle Sam's dime without spending a penny. I mean, paid housing, child care, free books, and free tuition, and those benefits never expire. Talk about a Cadillac plan, I had to use my bennies within ten years of discharge.

Do I feel slighted? No. Why? Because I'm not a snowflake that gets mad when other people qualify for programs I do not based simply on the timing of when a law is enacted.

Would I have preferred to pay 0% of my tuition instead of 40%? Yes, but that ain't happenin', and I got over it.

    You should too.

    He's right.

I worked thru college and graduated with no student loans. It can be done. Why should I now subsidize college for someone else?

Sure, "life isn't fair" yadda yadda, but Democrats conveniently only drag that old trope out when they want to justify screwing taxpayers and responsible folks. You'll never hear them saying "suck it up, life isn't fair" to a potential Dem voter with a pile of student debt and a useless gender studies degree, and you'll never hear them say it to anyone in any of their other protected victim classes.

You mean the ones who go to college for free, get a job, and start paying taxes?

    No, those are not victims.
