Yes, I will admit to going to Dollar General since they opened long ago, plus they are five miles away and Wal Mart is twenty so it's Dollar General, plus their coupons make my purchases a lot cheaper than the cost at Walmart.. As far as restricting by the cities I bet it is being done by those lobbying the got. hired by local merchants or big retailers.
INTELLIGENT DEMOCRACY Outside your home, there is no such thing as "Individual Rights" unless you want to live on a island. We live as citizens of a nation, a state and then a city. They are all democratic entities and it is the common vote that determines who is elected to represent "the people". Meaning what? Meaning this: What is best for the most people must do as best for all. Individualism has its regency inside the home, not outside where we (as individuals) must coexist with others. Inside our homes we can be as independent-natured as we like. Not outside, however. And thus, what matters most, is the kind of people whom we vote to represent "us". Or, as I am fond of saying, we-the-sheeple. Who, it seems, have been very, very easily manipulated by our present system of democracy. Whereby: *A state can be gerrymandered in order to achieve voting plurality for a single party, or, *Where enough money on nonsensical TV-commercials can "sell candidates" who sweet talk their way into winning an election. Or, *Where a Civics Course is either not taught adequately or even not at all* - and our youth haven't the faintest idea of how public governance works. And therefore fail to vote - because they've got "better things to do".
