I gave you a source where you can take your questions and concerns directly to one of the authors.

And the Earth is currently warming at a rate of roughly 0.2 degrees Celsius per decade. Why do you think that trend will stop or reverse?

Most of us get it. The world is getting hotter. Should we point out all the missed predictions?

The 2005 hurricane season is the beginning of more intense and numerous hurricanes.
    https://news.mongabay.com/2006/06/g...rd-2005-hurricane-season-conclude-scientists/

Global warming will cause fewer hurricanes.
    https://science.time.com/2013/09/09/a-silent-hurricane-season-ignites-a-debate-over-global-warming/

Ice free Arctic by 2020. What year is this?
    adn.com/arctic/article/expert-predicts-ice-free-arctic-2020-same-day-un-releases-climate-report/2014/11/02/

There's example after example of climate change not cooperating and providing the apocalyptic disasters that have been predicted repeatedly. Yet we're supposed to base policy on these predictions. Yeah, the planet is getting hotter, and humans are causing it. Come back when there's real evidence of its implications.

The IPCC consensus prediction is 0.3 degrees Centigrade per decade. Previous warming periods which took place with greater warming rates and higher maximum temperature have always reversed. Plus global warming is net beneficial.

This nonsense has been going on for decades. Pretty soon when the weather patterns change and it gets noticeably colder, they'll jump on that wagon.

    They just want money.

By the way, polar bears are still here and they were supposed to be gone years ago. At least according to that idiot, Al Gore.

Buying goods at the lowest price is making a profit ??? BTW Indian workers benefit from these transactions. Why are you against actions which bring Indian workers out of poverty ???

You know of zero previous warming periods with a rate of faster than 0.3 degrees celsius per decade.

You are quoting news articles from 2006, 2013, and 2014 in response to a NASA peer reviewed study that was released last month.

Why do you think the climate pattern from the last 50 years will reverse?

I told you before, you need to measure in eras and in eons, not years.

Think geologically. That is why you struggle to understand all of this.

Why should we think about climate change from a geological timescale? The Earth will be just fine no matter what we do.

The currently existing plants and animals do not have eras and eons with which to adjust to a rapid climate change that is taking place over the course of years.

Decades are not used to measure temperature over geological time. Why do you insist on making such statements? You are trying to discuss chess by constantly looking at checkers and fit them into the game.

What period or era had the largest warming period over 200K to 200 million years. Why did the CO2 drastically increase and why did one era have significantly higher levels of O2 and then why did it "suddenly" (Geologically speaking) disappear.

Why don't you just take a 3 min. period of time and argue that instead? Geologically speaking, it is what you are trying to do.

Climate change should not be measured in such short time periods. If you knew anything about Geology, you would get this.

You don't know how rapid climate change is over the course of the changing climate that occurred in relation to previous time periods because your samples are not long enough.

Why not measure climate for 5 sec. and then try and claim this is an accurate picture of climate change over the last 12 years. Then apply it to everything weather related to prove your point. Essentially, that is what you are doing.

Five of the previous nine had rates greater than the current warming.

Your peer reviewed study said temperatures are rising. I already conceded as much. What about all the failed predictions. Do we just ignore those?

The phrase “test tube” is a metaphor for the capability to control the independent variables such as atmospheric CO2 concentration. That is impossible to do in the global environment therefore AGW cannot be scientifically proven. You would have to show that reducing the concentration would result in cooling and subsequent addition would result in warming.

Climates are routinely determined based on reviewing data from 30 year time frames.

Again, the planet will be fine no matter what we do. The currently existing plants and animals will not.

You want me to explain the largest warming period over 199,800,000 years? I don't understand.

Oh, then man was responsible for the demise of the dinosaurs? Climate change?

    Again, Geology.

The earth at one time was colder than it is now.
The earth at one time was warmer than it is now.
The earth at one time had longer hotter periods than it does now.
The earth at one time had longer colder periods than it does now.
    more volcanoes...
    less volcanoes...
    More hurricanes....
    less hurricanes......
    and so and so forth.......

It's called Geology. If you understood Geology you would understand why this topic is so woefully wrong.

Just as the dinosaurs were not fine after the climate change caused by the asteroid, the currently existing plants and animals will suffer significant harm as the result of climate change caused by humans.

Stalactites? Sediment Deposits? Tree Rings? Ice Core Data?

I'm not aware of any of those - outside of Tree Rings - which can be analyzed closely enough to determine a climate change rate on the timescale of decades. And I would be very curious to determine where he found tree rings from each of the 9 previous periods that he referenced.
