I think we should be really worried, but not for what Schiff said, but that he would even say such a thing:

    Adam Schiff:

"If Trump isn't removed he could offer Alaska to the Russians in exchange for support in the next election or decide to move to Mar-a-Lago permanently and leave Jared Kushner to run the country, delegating to him the decision whether they go to war."

    Schiff:
I have to play to make my day.
So pay no heed to what I say.

for lying cheating is my game.

But you all know that I'm insane,
so aren't you the ones to blame,

for simple reasoning proves me wrong.
    So shouldn't I be where I belong?

I find it fascinating that none of the fronts for the Dem Party's leadership come across as mentally stable anymore. It should make their voters worry. The fact that it doesn't seem to cross the minds of any of those voters to worry . . . is . . . worrying.

Perhaps we shouldn't continue with examination of shallow, mentally-deranged dogmatists like Schiff (and several other radical Democrat 'luminaries'), and instead focus on what kind of creatures who actually ELECT them!

Ah HA! THAT explains it.... Below you see maps of Schiff's district. No surprises there....

Every day of my life I find myself wishing that California would go ahead and SECEDE!

It was clearly hyperbole, but the point remains: Trump has a free pass to do whatever he wants and his GOP cronies will always look the other way.

It takes a special breed of imbecile to believe anything Adam Schiff says.

Of course Trump can do whatever he pleases, he is the president you know, whether I agree with him or not. That is unless you think our Constitution should be changed and the president's rights should be taken away?

But what if a Democrat is elected, do you think it should be changed again, or do you think the Constitution should specify that Democrat presidents should be given more rights than Republicans since they're smarter and know better?

Yeah right! Take that :nana: George Soros.

Schiff is mentally unstable. He's been lying for over three years. It's actually very sad.

Hyperbole? Just like when he made up his own version of the "letter"... Schiff knows there are progressive minds made of mush that actually believe what he says. The creep should be disbarred

Someone on here posted in another thread about a declaration of a new state called New California. It's a thing.

Yes. But the Russians would do a much better job than our Progressive Government which places the welfare of US citizens last.

The problem is that his “audience” does not include moderate Democrats and Independents. That’s a losing strategy.

“Assume [Vladimir] Putin decides to ‘retake’ Alaska, the way he ‘retook’ Crimea,” Dershowitz writes on pages 26 and 27 of his book. “Assume further that a president allows him to do it, because he believed that Russia has a legitimate claim to ‘its’ original territory. That would be terrible, but would it be impeachable? Not under the text of the Constitution.”

“Assume [illegal] immigrants decide to ‘steal’ govt benefits such as food stamps, welfare and free healthcare. Assume further that a president not only allows it but encourages it, because the president believes that illegal immigrants have a legitimate claim to have tax paying Americans pay for their lives. That would be terrible, but would it be impeachable? Not under the text of the Constitution.”

If anyone thinks the second paragraph is just an assumption think again.

Oh, so now allowing the Russians to invade Russia is the same as illegal immigrants?

The US $7.2 million check used to pay for Alaska (roughly $109 million in 2018).

The Alaska Purchase (Russian: Продажа Аляски, tr. Prodazha Alyaski, Sale of Alaska) was the United States' acquisition of Alaskafrom the Russian Empire. Alaska was formally transferred to the United States on October 18, 1867, through a treaty ratified by the United States Senate and signed by President Andrew Johnson.

Russia had established a presence in North America during the first half of the seventeenth century, but few Russians ever settled in Alaska. In the aftermath of the Crimean War, Emperor Alexander II of Russia began exploring the possibility of selling Alaska, which would be difficult to defend from Britain and other countries in any future war. Following the end of the American Civil War, U.S. Secretary of State William Seward entered into negotiations with Russian minister Eduard de Stoeckl for the purchase of Alaska. Seward and Stoeckl agreed to a treaty on March 30, 1867, and the treaty was ratified by the United States Senate by a wide margin despite clashes between President Johnson and Congress over Reconstruction.

The purchase added 586,412 square miles (1,518,800 km2) of new territory to the United States for the cost of $7.2 million. Reactions to the purchase in the United States were mostly positive, as many believed possession of Alaska would serve as a base to expand American trade in Asia. Some opponents labeled the purchase as "Seward's Folly", or "Seward's Icebox",[2] as they contended that the United States had acquired useless land. Nearly all Russian settlers left Alaska in the aftermath of the purchase, and Alaska would remain sparsely populated until the Klondike Gold Rush began in 1896. Originally organized as the Department of Alaska, the area was renamed the District of Alaska and the Alaska Territory before becoming the modern State of Alaska in 1959.

Is this the same Russia that Palin(another Republican genius) said she could see from her bedroom window ?

Nice to see the Trumpists continuing to defend their chief felon’s depravities. Haven’t found a crime you won’t let him commit yet ?
