    Have a poke:
The OP is being mockingly satirical of the environmental apocalyptics’ constant failure in their predictions of doom—the creative power of the individual mind constantly defeats them. Darn greedy capitalists. How can the world end if the selfish keep making things bettter?

Burn Baby Burn 65 degree f in Antarctica.. highest evah recorded

20 lbs of CO2 for every 6.8 lb per gallon of gasoline combusted. 500 Million gallons a year.. Its more than a single volcano for sure.

Last I checked man has increased CO2 sources by about 10% over natures last 800000 year balance at ~375 ppm

Only fools see no connection to increasing temps and the industrial revolution

Still having problems with those delusions, huh? This came up on my youtube feed the other day and I thought about you. Prof. Lisa Duggan discusses her latest book, Mean Girl, with Chris Hedges:

27 minutes but you should watch it all the way through. If it helps with the delusions, let me know so I can recommend it to others....:hippie::D

You can see the character of your fellow human beings by who they admire and who they mock.

I suggest you read We the Living..and pay particular attention to Kira’s stand against the majority as she defends an ostracized fellow classmate.

(I am aware of the video, and I think Huffington has an article about it). It is true, Ayn Rand is mean...to liars, thieves, cheats, con-artist, tyrants, dictators, and murderers, but she worships the human mind’s creative genius. So I admire her meanness—it’s good to be good)

The Meanness of Ayn Rand, and the Greatness of Man

“Throughout the centuries there were men who took first steps down new roads armed with nothing but their own vision. Their goals differed, but they all had this in common: that the step was first, the road new, the vision unborrowed, and the response they received—hatred. The great creators—the thinkers, the artists, the scientists, the inventors—stood alone against the men of their time. Every great new thought was opposed. Every great new invention was denounced. The first motor was considered foolish. The airplane was considered impossible. The power loom was considered vicious. Anesthesia was considered sinful. But the men of unborrowed vision went ahead. They fought, they suffered and they paid. But they won.“
    http://aynrandlexicon.com/lexicon/creators.html

She’s so mean, she wants to take Man off of the cross and put him on a pedestal. What the hell is she thinking?

Don't you find it interesting that the hole started closing simultaneously with the signing of the bill even though billions of old refrigerators and AC units stayed in use for decades?I
Scientists now admit the hole opens and closes on its own despite what we do or don't do.

An alternate view from the "science" pushed by the control crowd .

"We now know UV varies as much as 200% naturally around the average value. They also said CFCs would remain in the atmosphere for up to 100 years, and that recovery of the ozone would take a very long time.

    They were wrong.

There are still no holes in the ozone, but the area of thinning over Antarctica continues to vary due to natural conditions."

Second claim is linked in previous post.
Existing refrigeration and AC was allowed to remain after the ban took effect as which is self evident.

    1. You claimed "the hole started closing simultaneously with the signing of the bill" so where is your link for this

    2. You claimed "Scientists now admit...." yet your link is the opinion of a web columnist, Tim Ball, not a scientist.

But anyway, it's quite funny that your Tim Ball, in an attempt to sound knowledgeable, quotes a scientist, James Lovelock. Do you really want to take the opinion of James Lovelock? You probably won't like them......

I don't think there's any argument that the ozone hole varies with the season. That's just accepted fact.
I have no link for the simultaneous shrinking of the ozone hole with the signing of the ban, just my memory if claims of its effectiveness since that ban took effect. If you have evidence to the contrary proving the ozone hole continued to grow after the ban I'd be interested to see it.
Remember though that if there was no change to the ozone hole for decades or if it continued to grow it calls into question if the ban had anything to do with it or if it's a natural cycle or other causes.

"The Antarctic ozone hole grows and shrinks with the seasons. It begins to open in August. By October, the hole reaches its maximum size, and it closes by December.

Ice clouds that form in the stratosphere during the Southern Hemisphere's winter break down the harmful chemicals into chlorine and bromine. When spring arrives, sunlight activates the chlorine and bromine, which causes rapid loss of ozone."

It didn't start closing simultaneously with the signing of the accord. It is not expected to reach 1980 levels until 2070 though significant repair of the ozone is occurring thanks to our ban on CFC's:

    https://www.nasa.gov/feature/goddar...f-of-ozone-hole-recovery-due-to-chemicals-ban

    https://www.nasa.gov/feature/goddar...is-the-smallest-on-record-since-its-discovery

Scientists don't admit anything of the sort. The ozone hole increases and decreases with the Antarctic seasons, typically peaking in September or October naturally, but this has nothing to do overall decrease we discovered in the 80's that was directly caused by CFC's.

Are you just troggling through all the denier sites looking for something that might stick to the walls if nobody reads it to expose the truth?

Are doing this to deliberately mislead or are you this uninformed about climate science?

The rebel is not a credible source. Ezra Levant is a well known Canadian source of Brietbart type tropes and extreme right-wing disinformation on a variety of subjects:

"Rebel News Network, Ltd.,[1] stylized as Rebel News, and previously known as The Rebel Media, The Rebel and The Rebel News Network, Ltd., is a Canadian far-right[7] political and social commentary media website. It was founded in February 2015 by former Sun News Network personalities Ezra Levant and Brian Lilley. It has been described as a "global platform" for the anti-Muslim ideology known as counter-jihad.[8][9][10]

The Rebel Media broadcasts its content on the Rebel Media website and its YouTube channel, which previously peaked on 16 August 2017, at 873,800 subscribers, however with the August departures, it had fallen to a minimum of 842,200 as of 31 August. In September–October 2017 the channel resumed its growth. On 25 June 2019, it had over 1.2 million subscribers.[11]

The Rebel Media, often cast as Canada's version of Breitbart News,[12][13] has been described as being part of the alt-right movement.[14]

Former Sun News reporter Faith Goldy joined the outlet after launch,[15] but was fired for her prominent coverage of the Charlottesville rally, and her interview with The Daily Stormer.[16] A co-founder and two freelancers resigned in protest of the coverage.[17] Gavin McInnes, founder of the far-right neo-fascist[22] organization Proud Boys, is also a contributor. McInnes left the site in 2017, and rejoined the site in 2019.[23]"

    Try again.

So it didn't help with the delusions after all. Sigh! Did you watch all the way through?

I think it is very sad you have fallen into this cult of worship for cruelty and indifference to the suffering of others. Things can change. Evolution is about constant change. You should hope upon hope that positions don't reverse and economic suffering and hardship come unto you and yours.

Your indifference - your worship, even of cruelty would not stead you well in a nation that has imploded from it's own contradictions. Can't happen?

It's happened to every empire that ever existed.

Yes, it is very cruel to demand honesty and integrity in world that worships Che, Sanders, and Trump. It is very cruel to the brutes to ask them to use their brains to guide their muscles. And yes, it is very cruel to the parasitical to demand they earn the life they desire. Very cruel indeed.

Can there be any thought more cruel and evil than this:

Ayn Rand: “Happiness is the successful state of life, pain is an agent of death. Happiness is that state of consciousness which proceeds from the achievement of one’s values. A morality that dares to tell you to find happiness in the renunciation of your happiness—to value the failure of your values—is an insolent negation of morality. A doctrine that gives you, as an ideal, the role of a sacrificial animal seeking slaughter on the altars of others, is giving you death as your standard. By the grace of reality and the nature of life, man—every man—is an end in himself, he exists for his own sake, and the achievement of his own happiness is his highest moral purpose.

But neither life nor happiness can be achieved by the pursuit of irrational whims. Just as man is free to attempt to survive in any random manner, but will perish unless he lives as his nature requires, so he is free to seek his happiness in any mindless fraud, but the torture of frustration is all he will find, unless he seeks the happiness proper to man. The purpose of morality is to teach you, not to suffer and die, but to enjoy yourself and live.”
    http://aynrandlexicon.com/lexicon/happiness.html

Pure unadulterated horrifying, filthy, evil. WTF is the btch thinking? The purpose of morality is to teach one to live happily and prosperous. How bizarre.

A scam, big time. Not because I say so, but because it’s reality.

    Just like the DDT ban.

If using deodorant will create an ice age and end man’s existence, perhaps we out to start using CFC’s and stop the global warming?

Its all so brilliantly stupid. (BS).

:roflol: You are too much. You don't really believe the tripe this guy is selling do you?

I don't know how to give real scientific information into the alternate universe you are living in. In many ways this is sadly symptomatic of the kind of world we have created. Facts and reality don't mean anything and people just believe the ravings of liars and lunatics if it suits the narrative of the bubble they are living no matter how divorced from the truth.

You may exalt in all this but it does not bode well for the fate of the human race and the institutions by which humans govern themselves.

Very dangerous if the general public cannot tell the difference between what this guy is peddling and real science.

    The CFC s Fraud:

“First problem is that the ozone hole never extends beyond Antarctica, and only appears in the winter, when there isn’t any sunlight. Ozone is created in the upper atmosphere by sunlight. You can’t get skin cancer from sunlight during times when the sun isn’t shining. As soon as the sun comes back out over Antarctica, the ozone hole disappears. How are people in Australia going to get skin cancer from an ozone hole thousands of miles away during winter when the sun is low in the sky?”

Yeah, how were the Down-Unders suppose to get skin cancer?

LOL. Doom and gloom isn’t science, facts are. The ozone may shrink and grow, but it will never disappear because humans fly jets and spaceships, and use air-conditioning and deodorant. That’s just stupid. Like twirling a dead possum underneath an Elm tree during summer’s first full moon to win a promotion.

The hole in the Ozone layer is repairing itself because we cut out CFCs, just as Acid rain is no longer an issue because we changed our way of power production. Environmentalism is not a socialist plot to destroy the American economy, EVERYONE should take it seriously of whatever political persuasion.
