Trump, of course, is a "****ing moron" and a prolific liar, so it is no surprise to learn that he is either lying or has no clue what is contained in his budget proposal.

Luckily, his budget - which includes a cut to Education spending by 8% , Foreign aid by 21% and cuts the spending to Military Health Benefits while simultaneously increasing the amount which goes to the military - is dead on arrival.

Not sure I see anything about SS "cuts" - the only thing I see in regards to Medicare is something about Prescription drugs...but doesn't go into any detail.....not surprised the Dems, who haven't even seen it, are vowing to stop it.

Why doesn't the left want to do anything about our major spending issues? Nor fix the problems with out of control cost in Medicare? and why vow to stop something, you haven't even seen?

The article does not include the details, but I found this quote from a different source:

I'd love it if ss just gave me all the money they took from me by force and let me invest it myself .. I'd literally take a one time payment with no interest just give me my money back.. I'd be much better set at retirement.

    It's not self-funded.

The people paying now are funding other people, not themselves.

SS is not an "investment", it's a pyramid scheme.

Yes. And the people previously paid for those people.

And no, it's a Ponzi scheme. A very transparent one that should be able to go in perpetuity with the correct modifications. Otherwise it's good till 2070 based on nothing changing between today and then.

Of course it's a Ponzi scheme. It's very existence is based on getting more and more people to fund the people before them.

Sure, if by "correct modifications" you mean "drastically cut payouts".

If it wasn't set up as a Ponzi scheme, SS would have been investment based. It's not.

That quote comes from Trump's own Secretary of State and it's nearly two years old. But you can wait for further proof if you'd like - for example, this might help.

Donald Trump’s Vocabulary ‘Deteriorating’; POTUS Could Be Suffering From Neurodegenerative Disease, Cognitive Decline

    I have seen enough, personally.

Not necessarily disagree with you RE your last point. My issue with that is that people are usually terrible with investments. The idea behind this is to help those who are too stupid to figure that out (or whatever reason they come up with) also, fixing the issues isn't a cut and dried as you think

Also. Works gearing up. Great going back and forth with you today. Much appreciate to have a sensible conversation on here :)

So, you are looking forward to making your older relatives hungry starving homeless people who will die in the streets. What a nice guy. Maybe you will die young so that you can avoid getting those hateful entitlements.

The horse's mouth. As usual, you find any fake news that fits your agenda and declare it true. Seems to be a pattern.

That does fall right in line with the "American people can't be trusted to make the right decision re: elections" suggestion by Democrats.

Those who are too stupid create more who are too stupid, until we have more stupid people than not.

The government is not your parents.

Actually it sounds like you and the folks writing the articles aren't sure of the details....but regardless of them, the left has already refused any part of it.....basically, your links highlight just how close minded the DNC has become
